X-Men: Children of the Atom - Omega Red Playthrough

- I watched a lot of the 90s X-Men series when I was younger, but I barely remember any of the villains that showed up in it not named Magneto at this point.
Omega Red started off as a Russian serial killer called Arkady Rossovich. He was then captured to be turned into the mutant Omega Red.
In this game, he uses carbonadium tentacles to give him a long range. They count as a command grab. You can toss foes this way, or while it's latched onto them, mash the Punch buttons to drain your opponent's health, or mash the kick buttons to drain their Super Meter. Since Juggernaut takes more damage from throws, this is a very good thing for Omega Red to have.

After beating Magneto, it was because he was getting in Red's way of finding a device called the Carbonadium Synthesizer. Magneto doesn't know what that is, so Red just leaves him to die on the exploding Avalon, but even eventually finds that Carbonadium Synthesizer, anyway.
So now Omega Red plans a world conquest, taking out some police cops in his way. Then Cyclops drops in to fight him. - Hry
I know its redundant to say, but man oh man Capcom did a great job on the sprites! That staff roll proves it.
I used to main Omega Red. You could have done two slams while vampire draining health each time you caught someone with the tentacles.
I remember the double slam being _super_ powerful. Omega Red was a beast on this game!
I loved this game. Had it for Sega Saturn.

Probably not, considering Omega Red got rid of his handicap.

He maybe a psychopath, but he has a great energy and a skill like a soldier.
So Omega Red's journey to Magneto was all for nothing? And it should be noted that Omega Red is one of Wolverine's enemies.

very good
Not gonna lie, whenever I play this game, I play as the character I choose, all the way up to Juggernaut, then once her inevitably beats the tar out of me, I pick Omega Red, and just spam jumping/diagonal down, coils to either catch him mid Earthquake and drain health, or whiff and build super, only way I've learned to consistently stop the Unstoppable. although your Wolverine playthrough said and showed that Wolvie has an air dash after attacking, so I'll see if that can help make some space between me and Juggie's giant fist.
Which omega red are you used to this version or any of his other variations

+Carls493 speaking of marvel 3 other than wolverine who's been in the most vs games in the vs capcom series starting from here and ending with ultimate marvel 3
This is the best version of omega red, he has a 2-3 hit stun combo and pretty much every character after stun has an infinite
I can't beat this game with Omega Red couldn't even win a round against Magneto. Gonna see if I learn something from you.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like this person replies to comments, but i would love to spar with them someday in this and a few other games. They're quite good.
