Would be hilarious if they got into a massive argument and one of them stormed out swearing.
that tends to only happen from opposing mind-identifications
That doesn't happen? Not sure if I'll watch the rest of the video now
And the best part is that they are so rusty and forgotten from arguing and insulting that the insults would be like "you are the baddest of the bad, you bad guy" "no, you bad guy" "no, you bad guy", etc..
It would be funny if they did that to fuck with us
"Yeah we're all the absolute, but you're an absolute *****!"
I’m just at the beginning and I can see why I resonate and watch Rupert Spiras videos and teachings. He’s the embodiment of “non-duality” in his behavior and mannerism/speaking. namaste 🙏.
so you know whats embodiment of non duality ? you should be a guru :)
@@Misha0013if you know the embodiment of duality the embodiments of non duality can be extremely clear and palpable when witnessed yes
Wow. You're awake then?
God, we all can recognize an 'embodiment' of non duality because we are all that. In other words lean into your kindness and understanding instead of this superficial judgement (talking to you commentators on this sincere and lovely comment)... And before you jump on me I am doing it too, but at least, I hope, with compassion....
@@Misha0013 We're drawn to teachers and gurus because of what we recognize in them. And here's something I feel is important for every adult (and child) to know: Sarcasm (in the passive aggressive, caustic sense) is unbecoming, even with a smiley face.
As I keep on watching, this appears more and more profound.
Great teachers all of you.
Heartfelt gratitude!
Thank you Adya, I can not yet find the words but I am glade you went beyond your Normal tendency to attend . All 4 of you brought something NEW by just being together. Thank you all.
I always enjoy Rupert's gentle ease with reminding of the clear awareness we are, preceding all experientially created stories veiling I Am.
9:26 adya nails it here and nothing more needs to be said!
I need to rinse the taste of vomit out of my mouth after listening to him.
Lot's of good insights here to hear. Also good fun to watch Adya's Zen mind animate him, and Rupert play the Jgani, and John embody the sweet Bhakti of an empathic therapist. All sincere souls, helping to manifest wisdom in their unique way.😊
Yes
Rupert certainly is playing the jnani because he never had realization. It is all intellectual.
@@MichaelDamianPHDHow did you arrive at that erroneous observation?
@@kwixotic I arrived at it because 1) Rupert himself admits he never had any sudden realization, and 2) I know by direct experience what it is and can recognize that he hasn't.
@@MichaelDamianPHD As the saying goes, “There’s more than one way to skin a cat.” You seem to think that Rupert has failed the “test” only because his Awakening was so unlike what you experienced. Wouldn’t surprise me if he has had a more enduring kind of realization than you have since your judgement of him wreaks of an ego tainted evaluation( as if declaring, well at least I had a direct Realization experience, certainly more authentic than what Rupert managed to attain”).
Adya keeps getting more and more real about this stuff! That’s a real spiritual hero
OH MY GOSH. I cannot believe how lucky i feel to be able to see Rupert and Adya (learning of John P and Johnathan) in one video talking!!!! THANK YOU FOR miraculous gift of a video!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Why it is found to be so difficult to be in the presence of one’s own presence?
Stay tHere. Stay in silence, until Silence dissolves all boundaries, all questions, all answers. Just stay. Be available. Graciously allow Life to whisper you awake.
✨😊✨
Fantastic conversation! Really opened up behind the curtain a little bit, behind the curtain of 'spiritual teacher'. I love seeing Adya slipping out of the role of the gentle, somber spiritual teacher. You can see the rebel/jokester who has some strong opinions and kinetic energy in his body. I love it. This is true Zen. ❤
Indeed 💗
Your Gasslighting Yourself and Utterly Deluded
Adya and Rupert together is amazing. Thank you to all involved!
9:26 adya nails it here and nothing more needs to be said!
@@mikelisteral7863 I'm sure he did not intend to shut down the conversation with that gesture.
And Pendergast!
I’ve been very deeply touched, moved to tears while watching this… I am grateful to you all and the warm-hearted sharing between us. Thank you.
I love how they are taking great care in pointing out the ‘languaging’ rather than arguing about which word is the right word like we see so often in ‘spiritual’ discussions.
It’s amazing we have come to the point where ‘living masters’ can be brought together and talk among themselves rather than only addressing questions from seekers.
9:26 adya nails it here and nothing more needs to be said!
Nothing ever needs to be said, but why not say something anyway! Kindness is beautiful.
@@intusun294 Yes, everything is already an inseparable expression of This. Whether it is thought and believed to an apparent act of kindness, or not an act of kindness, it is all equally This. How can anything not be beautiful when it is all This already?
yessss! i've been waiting for this!
three of the softest and clearest minds of our time, having a conversation - what a blessing! ❤🙏
thank you!
Exceptional, thank you. Adya is laughing from the get-go. To hear him speak of his ongoing relationship with the Sierra Nevadas like Ramana with Arunachala made me weep. Blessings to you ALL for holding the frequency and radiating Pure Being in your uniquely True Human ways. 💜🙏
This was unbelievably deep! So grateful that these folks came together! So deep to hear nuance from these 4 beautiful beings! It fills in so many holes in my understanding!
Watching this I don't feel so alone on my long path. I am surrounded by people who don't quite get me exactly. And I'm not awakened yet but I am allowing everything to be as it is and just practicing. Tears do come to me as I listen to these wonderful lovely teachers. It is an oasis . Thank you so very much.
John is a new to me, but I’ve loved to Adyashanti and Rupert for a long, long time. So grateful they finally came together for this conversation! What a gift 💫🙌🏼
What a wonderful exchange...grateful...love how John & Adya speak in favour of people who feel stuck...and there is kind of process in depth of embodiment...also always thanks to Adya for showing up so real and including the human side...
The one who is stuck is the one who needs to be seen through as not there. Don’t build up the one who is stuck

So many times I've wondered what a meeting like this might look like and have wanted to see it. Thank you so much Jonathan and PGI for making this a reality!
This conversation touched my heart, it brought me to tears without a particular reason, it just felt touching, warm and beautiful. Heartwarming is a good way to describe the feeling. Thank you.
☕
Big Gratitude for this deep creative sharing 😊😊.
A special thanks to Adya to address these repeated patterns that keep coming back no matter what and as well the big challenges faced to acute physical pains and all the non dual or other technics very useful in case of psychological suffering don't work in those acute physical pains...😊😊
And big thanks to Rupert to define Awareness in such a simple way and experience 😊😊
Thank you All ~ I will be listening again ♥
"Enjoy yourself even if you don't", that's something I needed to hear, Thank you!
so pleased to hear about Adya letting go into the flow of life, after being a fixture for so many for so long, that Rupert opened up this sharing, for the recommended books, thank you all 🕊🕊
Adya is ❤❤❤
Another conceptual approach towards that which cannot be revealed through conversation.
Happy watching anyway, it's joyful.
Here now
Thank you for this presentation, blessings to all of us!
wow I fell in love with everybody during this!!
Thank you for putting this auspicious gathering together! I can only imagine the time, heart and soul you poured into this.
9:26 adya nails it here and nothing more needs to be said!
Thanks to Adya for acknowledging that not everyone is on the left-wing political spectrum when meditating.
It's an important point. Also wish environmentalism never became a politically divisive issue in the first place. If we humans can't agree on anything else, let's agree to not pollute our air and water.
The most conservative Americans have an even lower carbon footprint than angry woke leftists. I'm talking about the Amish, of course... the oldest most successful "commune". Not saying we should all live like them, just pointing out that they exist right under are noses. Not a very big social media presence so they're easy to overlook unless you get lost in rural Pennsylvania 😅
Angry woke leftists. Interesting. By using that phrase as an epithet you indicate you are not one. You must be a mellow un-woke rightest I presume? @@johnatchason6506
Hopefully politics is not on our minds at all when meditating.
Sadly it’s almost a given in the new agey therapy satsangy groupthink world. Spira gave his support to BLM in passing which I find rather naive but not that surprising.
51:05 oh... what a beautiful metaphor, I love how Mr. Spira is always so precise with expressing his knowledge in words.❤
1:32:41 ~aww... how true
As someone who studies causal space modalities I had a blast watching how they represent them 😍
Thank you for this blessed gathering expressing delightful flavours of That 🕊💚🕊️
I burst out laughing after Adya clapped his hands. That would be the instantaneous reaction of a Zen student when he reached Kensho after grappling with a tough Zen koan.
This was absolutely phenomenal.
I got to see sides of these people that I have never before. Thank you for setting this up and moderating it so beautifully Jonathan!
Yes
Beautiful
Beautiful talk. To the topic discussed at the end here is a beautiful quote “Wisdom tells me I am nothing, love tells me I am everything. Between the two, my life flows.”
― Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
Truly a remarkable and insightful event. Thank you Jonathan for setting this up and for moderating it so beautifully. 🙏🧡
Enjoyed listening in , thank you !many paths home , Rupert’s is the the direct , no steps to take . I think John tried to break down the question so much that he got lost on the way . Blessings to all ! Rupert you are not for everyone, but most definitely hit home for me . ❤🙏🏻
We need more roundtables like this, thanks for sharing.
Thanks to all 4 of you guys. ❤
Thank you all! This is amazing. Love to all! ❤
The three of them are beautiful human beings and great teachers but the one I deeply resonate with is Adya, I'm really moved by him... I feel so much love for him ❤ just listening and feeling his spontaneous expression...his energy, body language, way of expressing himself.. makes me feel joyful and light hearted and with so much gratitude and devotion. He has such a pure smile and gaze, it feels so free, so alive , innocent and with a childlike quality 😊❤ I'm literally in love with him
"We cannot be that which we are aware of" - we are the infinite Presence of Awareness - for what it's worth!
Authentic, illuminating and thank you!
Wow John’s assessment of how things unfold from top to bottom - is totally my experience.
This is so so special to have these 3 all adressing these special questions. I would love to see more , perhapse include Francis Lucille as well.
Wow! What Adya says about the extremities of experience at around 45 minutes. I noticed recently that I was trying to hold up the experience to be a certain way, it was irritating and tiring, now I am only interested in seeing the lantern through the storm, allowing myself or my ego space and perhaps more importantly time, it is all under the gaze of presence, maybe I will not smile that much today, or notice such bliss in the simple things, there can be nothing in the way of my rest, not a things presence or its absence.
Beautiful talk. I've been listening to Adyashanti and Rupert for a long time, but it was my first time hearing John. It was nice to hear his thoughts about the seeking from the perspective of those in the phase of struggling to see past the psychological self.
🔥🔥🔥Beautiful and powerful. Three 🐐s. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Rupert is a true gift.
Such a beautiful stream. Deep gratitude 🕊️🙏🫂
Underneath it all, nothing ever happens to anyone; it is what it is as soon as it is, and no one is able to speak to that directly. Fall in love with that. ❤
That.
Yes!
Very happy for meeting of Rupert and Adya
Much gratitude for this very special and unique conversation. It will also be a treasure going forward. Blessings all
Thank you for this conversation. I feel the main lesson I gleaned from this is that there are as many ways of being touched by the eternal as there are living beings. Thank you, Rupert for mentioning Eckhart Tolle. I would love to see a conversation between Rupert and Eckhart. If a teacher calls themself a teacher, are they really a teacher, or are they still fixed to their ego self? We are all one piece of the jigsaw puzzle. No one less nor more than the other. We are all unique examples of the one.
eckart tolle sux
@@Misha0013why?
@@kolarz2128 karl renz makes fun of him. karl renz real deal
Why does it matter whether Rupert mentions Eckhart or not? Why is a conversation needed between this one or that one? Lastly the word teacher is simply a description and using it doesn't mean "attached to ego self." It all starts to sound rather superstitious doesn't it, when the mere use of a word means someone is totally unenlightened, etc etc.
I am what I am. I admit what I am and fully accept what I just am.
Amazing wonderful teachers.Thank you for that. Please share thanks with everyone involved .
This was a beautiful discussion. Thank you Jonation, John, Adya, and Rupert ☺🙏💛
Thank you for posting, and thank you for the effort in making such a video, and sending such a great message. Luv you guys, be well.
Fire 🔥 🔥!!!!! Love these teachers. Thank you 🙏 🙏
What a remarkable rendezvous. A conversation between sages that will have an impact through the ages. Thank you.
Thank you, Jonathan, for this lovely idea of bringing three wonderful spiritual teachers together. I kow all three of them but seeing them together propels the diving into the silent ground even more. 🙏
What an honor to sit among these sages.
Thank you Jonathan for gathering these beautiful souls together in one place, what a gift!
I'm glad they brought up ken wilbur, I wish they had brought him on! He is one of the few that acknowledges how and why some can be spiritually developed but emotionally stunted. Mixing Medication with pyschoanalysis is the most holistic balancing of awakening and healing trauma etc.
This! 💥 Hands clap! 💥- Good job Adya! 🙏❤️🙏
I enjoyed this very much. Thank you all
43:20 precisely- I had to be at a point to be able to hear Adya and another point to be able to hear Rupert. It’s like putting on readers that are not for your prescription and it’s not clear, however putting on the exact readers you need and it’s crystal clear❤
Wonderful conversation! God bless.
Thank you for making this happen Jonathan! Great to have all 3 there presenting different perceptions of the One. Very Whole all in All! Looking forwards to the next one. 🙏
Thank you for this enlightening conversation. All is well.
This was just so good and useful and assistive. Love all these teachers together giving their own particular access point and view 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Infinite thanks to the four of you! This is Love, Peace and Happiness located in one human conversation.

Beautiful ❤️
This is fantastic. Wish we could have seen someone like Barry Long in a roundtable like this.
Really enjoyed this. Thank you all🙏🙏❤️
Interesting that when replying to the ‘three living teachers’ question, Rupert gives a diplomatic nod to his two fellow speakers, and then his ‘life’ companion, without mentioning Francis Lucille, who is still very much alive and teaching. I had the impression Lucille was crucial to Rupert’s very ‘emergence’ as a teacher, so I wonder at this omission. I love Rupert, but he can be a slippery fellow; too gracious by half, as it were. Perhaps it’s a residual egoic trait of every ‘realizer’ to wish to imagine oneself as sui generis, and of course as awareness itself, one is. That said, thanks PG for putting together an instructive exchange.
They should have said 'three living teachers exluding the others here', they all felt obliged to mention the others. So effectively Rupert only had one space left that he gave to his partner, perhaps for fear of sleeping on the couch later 😄
@@TH-nx9vf Rupert has an agile mind and is adept at realizing the actual intent of a question, in this case to alert the listeners to essential living teachers. He could have easily given a nod to his two illustrious interlocutors and then, as they were already known to the audience, adduced three ‘unknowns’. A schoolboy solicitude to the surface question was unnecessary. But I appreciate your generous take on the matter and admit I may have been mischievous in mine.
I have been privileged to attend retreats given by both Rupert (five years ago in Burlingame, Ca.) and Adya (22 years ago in Boulder Creek, Ca.). Rupert’s was especially profound, perhaps due to my having been “spiritually developed” over the years by the time I attended his retreat.
Thank you.
The value of this video is immeasurable ❤
There is nothing less exotic than recognizing our being nature RS
Thank so much you for this.
so touching,many thanks for this
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful. Thank you! The part about awareness and the practical, the "stepping down" to how we show up in the world was especially welcome to me. A kind of blessing for our individual "signature" way of being in the world. Beautifully demonstrated by the three here today.
Blessings with grattitude to all wonderful people involved, from Flanders. Especially extra moving since Adya stopped now, oh thankyou
