Hey boss can you share your wheel dimension’s, I have the 98 LS extended cab 4x4 same color and would love to put those Wheels on it. Amazing restore btw! AMAZING! Oh and how is it looking and running today?
Dude hell yeah. I got me a beater 98 s10 with a V6 manual trans and the stepside bed for 1200. Bummer is the dash is in awful shape and bounces up and down lol. Its got 211k on it and a swapped 98 motor that supposedly had 70k on it. Runs phenomenal though minus an exhaust leak at the header. Plus side- I don't give a F about the thing, as long as it never leaves me stranded. Gets about 14mpg city and 22 highway.
@@defaultdaniel dude it's cheap fun lol I picked my dad up in it and he though I was a meth head was driving down the road scoping stuff to steal 😂 keeps the miles off my 2019 5.0 though
i just traded in my TDI jetta for a 2000 s10 with like 80 k miles. runs and drives like a dream. the gas prices re going to be kinda shitty but man i love that thing like a brother. Great video
Just bought a 2002 S10 with 2.2L from an auction for $1500, looks like shit but runs like it’s new off the lot in 2002, Currently replacing interior plastics, & gonna wrap the truck in a Matt Grey Aluminum color & add some Boyd style wheels like the ones you have .
@@Healthy4Life111 it was good, gas mileage is great, parts are very cheap. Just have to make sure you get one in good condition bc in 2022 chances are it’s an older truck and things will have to be replaced
The s-10 is a great truck, I’ve owned the same model since 2001. I love driving it when I take off the trash. Only 158K miles.
Nice. I got a 98s10 regular cab with a locking solid bed cover that lifts up. In pretty good shape. Starts and runs. $300. It has the 4.3liter in it.
Love the chevy s10 awesome truck
Great pick up trucks! These and the Sonoma's !
nice man, i drive a 16 gt and im looking for a s10 as a commuter also

The dash is always rough on these, it’s cheap 90s GM plastic, but I got over it and had fun w it.

Nice truck my dad had one with the 2.2 and if he had the A/C on it could barely make it up a hill
Yep definitely slow but I still enjoyed driving it lol
Nice truck, what brand bed cover is that. I’m looking for a cover for my 2000 s10
Thanks, that’s actually an eBay special lol. Only $175 I think I paid. But it was actually damn nice. I say was bc I sold the truck 😔

Does it have a 2.2L or 4.3L?
They're seriously great trucks. Can't pull much more than a small lawnmower and small trailer but it's definitely the mule of the 90s

Where did u buy it? I’m tryna get one too the s10 is such a nice ass truck
@@mariog6552 I got it from Manheim Dealer auction in Fontana, These older trucks like this always got for super cheap because dealers don’t want them
im thinking about getting one i wished you had driven it in the video im wondering what it drives like
It drives just fine, it’s smooth the manual is fun and easy for beginners. Just a basic, functional truck
That was a steal lol
R u selling it?
sold it months ago for $5800
@@defaultdaniel How was the overall experience with the truck? Gas mileage, power and maintenance? Thx for your efforts

@@defaultdaniel thx for your feedback!
You’re suppose to be talking the S10 not your STI
