4 Golf Holes In 3 Minutes

The first, worst, best, and last holes from an 18 hole round of golf at Salem Golf Club. There aren't a lot of people who want to watch a 40 minute CZcams video of a bad golfer playing a horrible round. Now you don't have to! I've condensed my bad golf down to just four holes out of my 18 hole rounds; the first (sets the tone), the worst (shows the bottom), the best (one shining moment), and the last (always be closing).
This edition is deceiving because it makes it look like I can kinda, sorta golf. Not true (see my other videos). It just so happened that my first, best, and last holes in this round were all birdies. The reality is that I shot an 89 on the round. Here's a telling fact from this round that provides a more accurate picture of how I golf; if I take my best 11 holes from this round I was +1, yet I finished +17. Don't you just love golf?!

My expectations are high as well on that first tee but it usually quickly disappears after I make double or worse. Looking good out there Mike, nice birds! That last putt was awesome. Best commentary out there!

Thanks, Mark. I have some kind of massive mental block with driver that I just can't seem to get over. Good to see you've had decent enough weather to get out and start recording again. Loooong winter. And as they always say, the camera does 0 justice to how downhill that last putt is. I hate getting above that hole because it usually results in a three putt.

I do believe you have improved from the very first video I saw a couple years ago. And I like the concept of First, Worst, Best and Last. It has a good ring to it.

For all I, or pretty much every other golfer I know, love to crap on our own games, you are correct. I am a better golfer than I was when I posted my first video a couple years ago. The stats bear that out as well. 2023 me would beat 2020 me by about 10 strokes per round on average. Then 2023 me would buy 2020 me a beer and we'd laugh about what idiots we both are... or were... or whatever.
