I have been on many flights and have NEVER experienced a flight attendant being so rude. I have relatives that are black and mixed race and have not heard of this level of discrimination recently. However I am aware that racism has been extreme in the past.

This is actually an old video.. I've seen this before.. The actor playing the husband in this video also played a very rude passenger himself.. He was accused of harassing the flight attendant that was rude to his wife in this video.

Ship's cabin attendants were men and this was translated to aviation as stewards. However, the first flight attendants were nurses.
Nice Afro-American lady was able to afford the flight, but when the racist attendant saw her holding the husband's ticket, she dared to profile her based on skin color and thought she couldn't afford!!! Because of hate, she couldn't tell that Mark Anderson was her husband and couldn't fathom interracial marriage!! Before flight even lands, this rude attendant will be recorded by a fellow passenger, fired by the boss and without a job!!! This is jail time for the racist Karen, time to say goodbye to your job!!!

Glad other passenger captured footage but would have been nice also to use his privilege to advocate for the woman in first class while it was happening. Notice too that he directed comments to the woman about racism and not the attendant who was acting racist.

All airline passengers, no matter how much/little they paid for a ticket should be treated the same way, given the same food the same way and allowed in all areas of the plane. There is no way I would be on a plane with a friend who paid less for a ticket and be in an area(bar, for example) that my friend could not be with me. This includes the airport's lounge.
