Someone should tell you the 3 last tr games are about her origins, and did it well. Of course she deosn't act as she acts when older, and that's better that way than having a lara with no growth between her first years and how old she is in tr1, tr2, tr3....

Okay, THIS is literally feels like a TOMB RAIDER game, right down to even her voice and attitude, screams classic Lara vibes! My favorite was Cradle and Classic.

So the reboot technically started story stages around 2006 even before uncharted’s release. The sales of both legend and underworld were completely fine.
Probably because the Uncharted franchise was inspired by classic PS1/PS2 Tomb Raider, but Crystal Dynamics took the series in a different direction for their own reasons, then rebooted a second time when that didn't work out, copied Uncharted with the recent "survivor" trilogy which some only know as "Tomb Raider" instead of the original iconic games.
This game looks more Tomb Raider than any of the latest Tomb Raider games and the Lara mod looks amazing, I wish they did something like this in the TR franchise. Creadle of life and AOD were my favorites
It's insane how just the model being swapped almost changes the voice performance. Imagining this is Lara gives the game a whole new feel. And is such a breath of fresh air for Lara portrayals. The collor pallete in this game is just GORGEOUS, unlinke the drab grays, browns and dark greens of the last 6 Tomb Raiders. And with Lara's outfits this game just screams classic core tomb raider... I missed this a lot.
Are you sure you played them all? PS2-era trilogy, first reboot game and like half of Rise of the Tomb Raider had totally fine graphics, design and gameplay wise. Some parts of RotTR and Shadow sucks, but not all of them.

This uncharted game gives a way more lush and colorful vibe that's much more pleasing to the eyes (at least mine lol) , but not necessairly more realistic. You won't see these vibrant saturated colors in real life, especialy in deacaying ruins. But it's much more interesting to look at in a video game. And that was something Core understood in their games, even in the darker ones like AOD (even tought the game itself was a disaster) . Look side by side comparisons of the TRA released by Cristal and the TRAE that Core was developing but was canceled. Sure, TRA is more realistic, but the enviroments look way more boring in comparison. But ultimately that's a matter of taste. I like lush and stylised artsyles way more than hiperealism.

My point is that Crystal designs most of the enviroments thinking in a more mutted, realistic tone wich results in a big usage of greys, dark greens and blues. There are exeptions in the more tropical levels of course, but the Core era TRs and uncharted have more vibrant enviroments even if the theme isn't tropical or sunny. It's just a diferent artslyle and direction. It doesn't make Crystal's TRs ugly in any way, but I prefer wen things are more stylized.
It's amazing to see how Chloe resembles older Lara more than the new one. I miss Lara's toughness and could do without hear whiny attitude in Rise and Shadow.
I've gotta say, I'm really happy to see so many people appreciating just how good this mod is, how fitting it is and in line with the spirit of Lara Croft. I didn't particularly like the reboot trilogy, at all. Well, the game itself might have been okay, but the presentation of Lara is just horrific. They gave her daddy issues, seriously! So it's nice to see that I'm in good company here. Lara deserves only the best. I fell in love with the character way back on the PlayStation 1. Yes I'm old, leave me alone. It's kind of annoying to see developers not loving her as much as I, we, do. The Tomb Raider IP is under new management now, no? Embracer Group acquired the rights not long ago. Who knows. Maybe someone over there will have a smidge more respect for the most badass gal ever envisioned.

Not just the character model, but the enviromnents and the atmosphere feels more like TR than anything we've had from the last three TR games. How hard is it for game devs to realize the fans want *this* and just give it to us

I love the Classic and Angel of Darkness version! Actually the AOD-Look is my favorite here! It looks perfekt! Also the part in the game with the Shiva Statue was one of my favorite moments in the game! And I also love the fact that her hair looks a bit wet and messy on her head around the face, it's exactly the Lara Croft look that i miss so much. It's giving bad B*tch. The new hairstyle from the reboot or even the look from the unified version we got in Call of Duty looks too well-behaved and innocent... If you know that I mean...
Hats off though to the original MOCAP actor, she really brought in the Angelina Jolie as Lara feelings, without intending to do so. Add the MOD and its solid.

This is the true Lara Croft right there! Only one suggestion, you might wanna slightly reduce the normal/bump intensity of her skin, it looks too harsh imo. Other than that this is PERFECTION!
I think TR trilogy did use the same formula like this but the way Uncharted the Lost Legacy executed better was the atmosphere, no rpg elements grinding and better used of setpieces. And it made UTLL a better modern TR experience. Despite we have seen some action or runaway setpieces, etc. and the gameplay of UTLL wasn't innovate or changing the overall action adventure type of games but it did what it could to the core fans. And thanks to that, the adventure of it was great enough. And is it weird that even Chloe has family issues but we didn't feel force or "depression" wannabe from her but I did got tired from Lara, especially in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Lara in reboot 2013 and Rise was kinda over it but she did "fall" into that again and even worse in Shadow which I felt almost no sympathy towards the end. Hell, even the comic explained the timeline between 2013 and Rise has better storyline than Shadow. Ofc Shadow has the most difficult tombs and better overall gameplay but terrible pacing and worst character development with kinda exhausted setpieces made me feel tired of it most of the time imo. I only love secret tombs and its dlc tbh. Chloe only had 1 game and I can feel her character development greatly alongside Nadine, too. The exploration feel natural enough and creative puzzles, some reminded me of old TR before Reboot trilogy which was great. Well, I hope someday Chloe and Nadine will have another adventure again. And I wish the best for the next Tomb Raider. Because after all, it is the only franchise that hasn't been dead and the only quality action adventure with kinda setpieces type left. 😢
Omg her classic outfit looks absolutely incredible! Why can't we get this look in a modern TR game.. she's still hot but looks like she can handle just about anything and kick some serious butt too. Why is there no official game with the Movie Lara? I'd love to play it. Why can't we get the games, we actually want? In today's world we could make everything... But they just won't... So sad... Make a full game with Movie Lara and I'd play the hell out of it.
As a die hard TR fan of the movies and game series - it hurts that she looks SO MUCH better in this Uncharted/Naughty Dog design. Even the outfits look natural and her body doesn’t look like a male fantasy - while still staying true to the outfits. Even how it flows in the environment with uncharted mechanics looks way more fluid than the recent reboot series. Excellent work on this mod!!

This mod is the Tomb Raider ive always dreamed of. The way my jaw dropped the entire time watching this!!! Phenomenal! The nevada look slaps!!! Feels like a combination of classic lara and the Angelina Jolie tomb raider movies. Just so happy this even exists.

it's crazy how the backstory even matches Lara. How her dad is the famous archeologist, and she's always in his shadow. VERY VERY COOL. and as a long time fan and obsesser of Lara Croft, i actually feel like i'm seeing our girl as she is! This intelligent, funny and whity, and slightly troubled but-has-it-under control woman. The reboot is a shell of her personality. This mod truly brings her to life in a way i never though possible. I watched a full playthrough with this mod and as soon as she said "I don't need luck" all I thought of was "I make my own luck" from Last Revelation.

I love this mod, and I am wishing for more Tomb Raider games...
Why is there no official game with the Movie Lara? I'd love to play it. Why can't we get the games, we actually want? In today's world we could make everything... But they just won't... So sad... Make a full game with Movie Lara and I'd play the hell out of it.
As a die hard TR fan of the movies and game series - it hurts that she looks SO MUCH better in this Uncharted/Naughty Dog design. Even the outfits look natural and her body doesn’t look like a male fantasy - while still staying true to the outfits. Even how it flows in the environment with uncharted mechanics looks way more fluid than the recent reboot series. Excellent work on this mod!!

This mod is the Tomb Raider ive always dreamed of. The way my jaw dropped the entire time watching this!!! Phenomenal! The nevada look slaps!!! Feels like a combination of classic lara and the Angelina Jolie tomb raider movies. Just so happy this even exists.

Dude this is amazing, holy shit I love Tomb Raider and I love Lara's Outfits. My favorites are Nevada and Angel of Darkness. I love darker/edgier Lara.
I never really liked the four Uncharted Games, but I absolutly love Uncharted Lost Legacy, because it feel so Tomb Raidery :")

It still blows me how Japanese developers can create beautiful realistic Black women, like Sheva from RE5 and Master Raven from Tekken 7, while a team of American developers, who are surrounded by Black women, can't even make women look like women most times.
there's an agenda to promote diversity, but at the same time, show superiority of the white race. it's racism really. mainstream media and hollywood is doing it on purpose. look at all the ugly minotiry actresses they cast for little mermaid and snow white. the evil princess in little mermaid is prettier. the evil queen in snow white is prettier. gal gadot of course. also look at the black woman agent in the latest 007 movie. she looks like a man. and then they cast ana de armas as the counter part bond girl. so hot. hollywood is saying "you want diversity? we'll give you diversity. here you go. look how sexy white women are, make sure we cast ugly minorities only!"

it's crazy how the backstory even matches Lara. How her dad is the famous archeologist, and she's always in his shadow. VERY VERY COOL. and as a long time fan and obsesser of Lara Croft, i actually feel like i'm seeing our girl as she is! This intelligent, funny and whity, and slightly troubled but-has-it-under control woman. The reboot is a shell of her personality. This mod truly brings her to life in a way i never though possible. Seeing this validates everything i ever thought about the reboots not being Lara Croft. That's Rachel Croft to me..... but this??? *chef's kiss* wow
