I love hunting in the snow. Unfortunately, in middle Tennessee we don't get much snow, but occasionally I've had the chance to hunt with snow on the ground. It sure makes spotting and tracking a lot easier, and more fun. Send some snow our way Iowa boy! I got buck fever just watching the buck walking into your coverage area.

It has been 30 years since I used a muzzleloader, but I could reload in 30 seconds using a speed reloader that held 3 shots and a brass nipple reloader tool. I enjoy watching your hunts, thanks.

Good video. Simple no nonsense hunting show . Hope you keep putting out more, i appreciate the going to make sure you did miss. I had a buck once I shot with bow, i tracked for 225 yards before i found significant blood. If i hadn't had visual on the first 150 yards I probably wouldn't have found it for a day or so. I knew i hit it good so i kept with it.
Fat plugged the lower hole in chest cavity that's why nothing dripped out. First time i have every experienced that.
Just mentioning cause i think to many give up looking after a short distance.

The benefits of hunting in the Midwest late season... I hunted every day for two weeks every day and I only saw one deer and that was when I was walking out of the woods lol and it was a small doe...and you guys are still seeing shooter bucks late in the season LOL .. Massachusetts ain’t easy 🤦🏻♂️

Ted that's a tough one. Use the same technique you do with your archery release and slowly add pressure until it goes off. Glad it was a clean miss. I hope you get another chance at him.

Sitting straight on the ground sucks, you guys should check out the Beard Buster Ground and Pound Seat System. It is an excellent adjustable ground seat and backpack with storage pockets. I love mine and have been using it for a several years now. Sorry about your luck on this hunt, on to the next one.
