I grew up and was able to ride with a buddy from high school named Russell Bobbitt the five-time Enduro champion. Considering at the time we were very close on a motocross track but in the woods it was unbelievable. He could go to the tightest Woods at Full Throttle and I couldn't even stay in the same zip code. Back then I didn't understand how he could go so fast but then now I see he's become a five-time champion and understand okay he wasn't an average tail rider. Respect for these guys even though the sport doesn't pay much
I raced with cody barnes and that kid will put any "fast" rider to shame. To think there are 8 guys faster than him is absolutely ridiculous. These guys are no joke.
I always wonder when I watch this how like Eli Tomac would do or Kenny rockzen? Would they smash these guys or not do great because of the different style?
Watch closely as the front tires of the four strokes dig into the sand forcing the rider to obey while the back tire spins out of control trying to lift the over weight four stroke engines too heavy on the front wheel making for an exhausting ride as riders are knocked off course .. But in two stroke races none of the four stroke problems exist.....
I watched this online Sunday... that Yamaha drone camera was awesome. Ashburn and R Russell had an intense battle going.
That was the best coverage and footage of a bike race ever, the drone footage is great!!
