I wouldn't throw any away. Sometimes our taste change. Sometimes they go back. Lol I have had some kits that the rendering was just way off from the supposed picture. Those I won't go back either. Your English is just fine. To be bilingual is a blessing.
I also don't care for confetti stitching. That may be one of the reasons I have so many different kinds of projects. When the confetti drives me crazy I can switch to something with more block stitching. Your English is perfectly fine, it's my only language and fails me on a daily basis!
I really like the camper one. It speaks to me. Sad to hear that you hate confetti stitching that much. Because it gives most pictures more depths. The elk looks great in the colors printed on the canvas. You could stitch him in similar colors and turn him into a colored version. Maybe you would like that more. Happy stitching and a lovely weekend Lona!
Greetings from Canada and I have just subscribed. I like your projects, particularly the teacup. I did cross stitch for 20 years before I started quilting. I will probably get back to doing some cross stitch again after I finish hand quilting a pretty large medallion quilt. There is nothing wrong with your English. I like your accent.
I agree. Maybe it's the size of the project that makes it a bit much for me. I am thinking about trying to do maybe 1 of the peony flowers and see how it goes 🌞
I have no problem understanding you. That's all that matters. You English is good, you have all the right words in the right order. I think your accent is charming. On the dragon, in my opinion, it was unethical for the company to not provide a photo of the mock-up of the design (one that's already stitched) before selling it to anyone. The photo is of the painting. The painting will always have more detail.
I agree, and thank you for the sweet feedback on my "danglish' lol. I love speaking English, I know I'm not good but I really feel accepted for being me, and that means the world to me ❤️
I like the girl and cat (Sailor Moon). I suspect that when it's stitched and ink is washed away, it's going to look great. Trust the process on that one. At least that's my thought. Happy stitching!
Thank you. Maybe I should give it a chance. It IS easy stitching, and nice fabric, so yeah, you are right, .. Sometimes you should trust the process ❤️
Thank you for sharing your WIPs. I have a lot of old WIPs too and I might donate some of mine but haven't decided yet. I still have some hope I will stitch them again and they have sentimental value. My oldest, most ancient of WIPs was started in 2002 called The Guardian by Theresa Wentzler. 😅
@@RandomStitcher You're welcome! 🙋♀️ I will try to stitch my old WIP again. The last time was during the lockdown in 2020. Every color is blended and there are these fractional stitches that make a beautiful Celtic style border. It was fully stitched by some flosstubers who are amazing at cross stitching. Even though I've stitched for a long time I prefer to stitch simpler designs. I haven't completed anything big, all of my finishes are smalls.☺
Such a great watch! I too have missing needle minders lol. Yeah that confetti can be just too much sometimes. I think your English is awesome!! Sailor moon really did of look ok away from the camera. And I think the dragon did too. Thanks for sharing 😊❤
på din poppy erstat perlerne med franske knuder? Julestrømpen vil være perfekt til Chrismas in july (hvis du mangle magneter til at lave dine egne har jeg lige købt en ordenlig stak hos grafical som er her i DK) / On your poppy why not replace the beeds with french knots? and the chrismas stocking is perfect for christmas in july

@@RandomStitcher that maybe a good idea
Just try to do a certain area of the pattern, make it smaller pieces to do
The dragon looks fine.
Dimensions kits are very good. They’re mostly counted and not printed though. I would suggest trying the Dimensions.
