- We go over the ins and outs of a 426 HEMI equipped A990 Package Superstock 1965 Dodge Coronet with Adam and Fred Engelhart of Engelhart Performance. I'm sorry we didn't fire the car up, it was 3°F out and it's a small, confined space.

Did you see what Dodge brought out for the last of the Hemi's it's called the Hellcat 170 and it blows away all the others before it but I would take a old Mopar before a new one even if it don't have the HP the new car has

Yes Please I love it!! I have been a Mopar freak since I was a kid and use to spend the money I made buying Mopar magazines and dream of owning the Max Wedge cars and the Super Stockers of the early 60's and I just love the 413's, 426 wedges and of course the mighty Hemi and even today I just can't get enough of them but still can't afford to own one but have owned many other Mopars with 273,340,383 and 440's I do own a old Kieth Black Hemi but the block is no good but the heads are goods and I have it on a engine stand in my Garage just to look good LOL! Anyway that is one sweet ride that's for sure.
Engelhart Performance (guys in the video) has their show the last weekend in July every year just outside of Houston MN. They have small drag strip, usually a wheel stander, jet car and some of the best cars that you can't believe are at this little show. July 29th his year, if you're a Mopar fan it's the place to be, Fred has owned many original condition, the rarest of rare in the Mopar's world and there's usually one or more at the show.
I know a guy who has a Dodge lightweight and the fenders the bumper, bumper brackets and hood are all aluminum and I am talking almost popcan thick aluminum on the fenders the brackets were the thickest pieces of aluminum on the car
Neat stuff, its fun talking with Adam and Fred about this stuff, their one of the foremost authorities in the world when it comes to lightweight Mopar's.
Buddy walking around with that screwdriver makes me nervous and it's not even my car

We contemplated it, but we didn't want to start it for a short time inside, it was really cold and snowy outside.
