I started learning from Dr Smith via One Hour One Book- and really enjoyed learning the Bible from him. Last few years, EVERY time he speaks, he yells- the WHOLE time. Hard to learn when it’s hard to listen…. Hope Dr Smith hears from someone that yelling is not necessary or desirable. Most people learn more/learn better when they don’t feel assaulted.
Take notes. Use the pause button. Study each point- as there are many - because he packs hundreds of hours of necessary prayer and the right heart attitude into each session. Use the video pause often and study, study, study. And then listen again. ❤
I enjoy his enthusiasm and passion 🙃 Everyone has different teaching/preaching styles and that's ok. I'm sure that there is an amazing teacher/preacher out there whose style you can appreciate more. I wish you well in your pursuit of him.😁
@@marilynmiller5075 My OP was not meant as an insult, but a lament. I learned a lot from and thoroughly enjoyed Dr Smith’s earlier videos. He was not as loud- as informative and as enthusiastic, but gentler on the ears. As I have really sensitive ears, I find I can no longer learn from him, and that makes me sad because he has so much to teach and I like his style. Have tried adjusting volume- it’s less the loudness and more whatever else is included in the loudness that hurts my ears. At any rate, I wish his delivery had less yelling; I miss learning from him.
