i have tried for years but part 2 is gone. is there a reason why

Sorry pastor. Roman Empire did not cease to exist in 300 A.D. It continued till Romulus Augstus who was defeated by the Visigoths in 416 A.D.
But still the Western Empire of Rome existed in part of the Church being the political order of the Roman empire.
The Holy Roman empire is the evolvement of Romans and Germanic barbarians who wanted to be considerend Roman. Such as the choosing of the Frankish race to be the guardian of Rome by the Roman Church, again an offspring of the Constantine reforms of the Roman empire.
The Holy Roman empire was the new idea of the Germanic kingdoms that were anointed since Charlemagne by the Pope in Rome. Continuing through the German cousins of the Franks who broke away from the Frankish empire after their civil wars and fall out including the coming age of the Vikings. The Germanic nations formed an alliance that would be considered the Holy Roman Empire which dominated central Europe and Italy for many centuries.
