Gerry Rafferty BAKER STREET live keyboard & vocal cover (no sax)

Baker Street, by Scotland legend Gerry Rafferty, stands today as one of the most iconic songs of the late 70s/early 80s era, or for that matter, any era. There was some controversy over the authorship of the famous saxophone riff, with both Rafferty and sax player Raphael Ravenscroft claiming credit for it. Rafferty reportedly refused many lucrative offers over the years to allow Baker Street to be used in advertisements. Sadly, the later years of Rafferty's life eerily resembled the lyrics of his magnus opus composition, and he passed away in 2011 at the age of 63. I realize that it's pushing it a bit to play this incredibly-produced song stripped down & without the sax, on a chimey 149$ keyboard that i got from Best Buy, but somehow i just liked the way the version came out. No commercial use.
