I will only add 2 things - first 12x24=288 288+50=338 and this is real daily amount of energy. About hoarding you have right but I will add one option - minimal "hoarding". You use energy till half of day. You can calculate that your max energy will be a few minute before end of day. With max energy you buy energy and with new day and starting event spend them. If you have coordinate this properly you can lose only a few energy and from my experience you will achieve one more level of new character. Minus of this option is that you need have time and be in correct time zone ;)
That's a great tip for people that want to push their new characters a little further!

Content wise this is pretty good and generally we have a similar take on what makes sense and what doesn't.
It sounds to me like you follow the Omnissiah's cold logic in your decisions, fellow tech priest!

You can actually run 4 salvage runs on saturdays.
2 tokens before game reset
use 1 token 5-10 mins before reset. BUT DONT FINISH IT until reset time has passed.
use the other after.
use another after 12 hrs.
use another after another 12 hrs. But finish it quickly before the reset time
That's a great point, I didn't think about it since my Tacticus day resets at 2 AM, but overall, solid idea for anyone that wants to boost their progress ASAP!

@@TechPriestFred I read that from reddit a few months back, surprised it's not yet the norm for those that are able to due to timezones.
Ive been playing “efficiently” for the last year, and my progress has outpaced everyone in my guild.
One thing you didnt touch on was farming character shards.
I _hate_ unlocking characters with regular nodes, but it is required. However, farming Legendary without Elite nodes is a long term waste of energy. The opportunity cost of farming a unit like Ahriman is devastating to a mid lvl account. 10pulls and hope is the legit better strategy.
As someone who farmed Helbrecht before the Elite nodes for him came out, I fully agree, farming legendaries with normal nodes is a huge energy sink that slows down your progress quite a lot, I'd definitely recommend everyone to use the energy on upgrading characters in order to beat Elite version of the boss fight instead of farming the normal nodes- shouldnt be a huge difference in energy spent and is waaaay more efficient while also upgrading your core characters

Me too, Don't ascend Haarken he said? Got about 500+ shards for him, on req drops and upgraded him to legendary 1, need 3 orbs to get him to L2...

@@TechPriestFred Yes he is, G1 with damage upgraded. I upgraded the heck out of him for Rogal tank, because i struggled there. Thanks about the buy stuff for gold and salvage it, used to do that but figured it was just a gold drain.
The optimal strategy is to subscribe. Praise the Machine God.

You can time it and get 4 Salvage runs on Saturdays. Ive been doing that for a few months and can reliably earn over 100k in one day.

What are your thoughts on Requisition? Seeing how the cost is the same, there is no extra requisition attempt (1:10, not 1:11 ratios), the probability to get a character should be the same, even with the "guaranteed" that nearly always is some character you never use.
The probability is close, but not the same- you roll 9 reqs between Orbs and Characters and 1 is set to Characters if you do a 10 pull. Ten single pulls mean 10 rolls between Orbs and Characters and not a guarantee for at least a single unlock, so I'd say that if you have most characters that you want already unlocked and are in need of Orbs, getting that single request may be good. Otherwise, if you are looking for new unlocks and mostly shards (cuz you don't lack orbs), 10 pulls are the way to go to me

HRE is Hero Release Event, which is like the previous event to unlock Wrask or the current one to unlock Masher.
LRE is Legendary Release Event, which is like the previous Ragnar/Shadowsun events and the upcoming Vitruvius event.
