  • E-bikes, also know as Electric Bicycles are actually very simple to use and operate. In this video we walk you through the basic elements of an electric bike and show you how each element operates. An electric bike can look like a normal bicycle but it has a motor that if engaged can either help the rider pedal or completely power the bicycle with use of the throttle. Riding ebikes is very much "like a riding a bicycle," it's that easy. Watch as we walk you through how to ride an electric for men or women.

    Great video that gives the “facts” so that you can determine if it’s for you! Suspension system on one of the Models would be a great idea though, depending on where you ride & maybe for people with disabilities (me) or what a great “tool” for someone who wants to eventually use all his own propulsion and could do it ALL with one bike.

    Great helpful hints! Question: What is the best way of slowing down an ebike, when it speeds up (own gravity) going downhill? I usually use my brakes, but you can hear them while going down...is there another way? Thanks

    • @sixthreezero

    Do you just push the throttle a slight bit if you are getting on the bike and want it to move forward slowly rather than have a wobblier start/push off just with the peddles and without battery assistance?

    • @sixthreezero
      @sixthreezero  Před 3 lety

    Do you have a comparable sized bike to this to avoid musculoskeletal issues on a wrong sized bike?
    I like the idea of a 365 day return policy- Leitner doesn’t have this.

    • @sixthreezero
      @sixthreezero  Před 3 lety

      You can definitely pedal like a regular bike, you won't even tell the difference of it being an electric bike. You would use either the throttle or pedal assist, you can use at the same time. But basically the bike has the option to do any of the three, throttle without pedaling at all, pedal assist, or just ride as a normal bicycle.
