The thing is the first 7-8 wings actually increase your spice tolerance level and make your tongue numb. That helps when you are trying to eat the last wing. It doesn't come as a punch in the face because the mouth has got used to the spices. But what he did, he attacked his mouth with the spiciest sauce. That's torture.

Well for starters, this is a super early episode so less views in general cause many people won't go back, also Gordon basically became a non-stop requested meme so it finally being fulfilled was huge, it 100% makes sense why that one has way ore views.

Eddie has always been an interesting character to me. Sometimes he says stuff that im like "How can you say that outloud and not get struck down by lightning" then other times he lets you in, and your just like "Wow for all the joking and party boy attitude, this dude is just really smart". I think this was one of my favorites.

cybertree I know it's a month old comment. But he really is a great guy. If watch his show on VICE you'll see what I mean. He's pretty real and he really knows his shit. There literally wasn't a single episode in that show where he seemed like a douchebag or anything like that. He's just a generally nice guy. He even visits his family and they have a big dinner with fireworks for a holiday.

I have to say this is my favorite episode. The editing and drama are top notch, and Eddie is hilarious.
Eddie has a brain and a decent education. He talks about how people struggle and addresses a lot of things that Action Bronson or Matty Matheson, have no idea about.
In my opinion, Eddie Huang is the greatest foodie of all time. No other major food personality has so much depth and such pertinent points. Bordain will sort of touch on some different stuff, but Eddie goes way beyond anyone else.
Except he doesn't use his brain when he pisses on the curb outside a business.

Eddie's strategy was genius. Typically at the end Sean is composed and pushing the conversation forward but by the time Sean was at the last wing, Eddie had fully recovered and was able to finish out strong while Sean was on the struggle bus.

They normally give the milk for to help with quenching the acidity of the chili. Whenever eating something very hot like say for example Habaneros and you start to meltdown there are three things you can take separately or together to help releave the spiciness. 1. Citrus - anything citrus like oranges or OJ or lemons will help cool off the chili. 2. Milk or creamy drink - milk or dairy or creamy drink will help also quench the spiciness. 3. Avocados - From personal experience if you have avocados around use those first, the creaminess of the avocado will immediately kill off the spiciness or if you took something too spicy like ghost pepper or habanero then the avocado will bring it down to Tabasco level.
Also I do agree with you they should not have given him milk since he's lactose intolerant. They should have given him citrus or avocados. That really contributed to him having a worse reaction.
