Used to have one of these in 2004, sold it after 7 years. Never had a single issue with the car, only replaced a few small things

Those were extremely well built cars, simple and reliable. My parents still have 1.4 16v 55KW as secondary car, now with 210k km on the clock and still works with no issues.
Hy, I am hungarian, and I have a Fabia from year 2003. I love this car, so I think this is the very practically car in nowadays, and I love my Fabia. Cheap and so fast car. This car is a Czech wonder😌
Jeździłem taką z tym samym silnikiem. Od nowości w rodzinie na flagowych tablicach przez 18 lat. Chociaż była to wersja totalnie golas, to bardzo miło wspominam to auto. Niestety w tym roku uległa kolizji i została sprzedana, bo koszt naprawy zbliżał się do wartości auta. Szkoda tak dobrego auta. Przez chwilę nawet po miniaturce miałem myśl że to ta s sama, którą jeździłem.

I have a hatchback, as my first car, its 20 years old now, and it didn't have an easy life before, so it has several issues now, but I love it and definitely gonna try to save it up as long as I can. Works very reliable, it has a rational acceleration, pretty easily manouverable, and it still doesn't really rot, despite being outdoor car since 2008.
I had a fabia 1.9tdi 74kW, had it stage 1 and maaan it goes. And i did end up trading it to a 2006 octavia 2.0tdi with dsg . Overall a great car!

Idk if you have volkswagen but they are very similar
Not anymore tbh. They have their strong moments, but its just VW concern. There is basically no real daily car with them, the costs are high for what you get, and the quality isnt anything special.

Ha! miałem Fabię z 2002 1.4 MPI 60 KM, szczerze mówiąc to wolałem Polo 1.4 60 KM z 1997, ale Fabią przez trzy lata wyjeździłem jakieś 40 tysięcy kilometrów bez większych awarii
Old three cylinder engine , but quiet.. Nice video!
Old? The 3 cylinder 1.2 engine came later. The first Fabias (2000-late 2002) had a 4 cylinder 1.2 engine, with just 53hp. The 3 cylinder engine was an improvement that came later.

Auto nie do zajechania. Jężdżę Fabią z 2005 roku (1.4 16V), na liczniku ponad 200 tyś , pół Europy nią przejechałem i wciąż ma się dobrze. Owszem, były rzeczy do wymiany, głównie zawieszenie, które psuje się na naszych drogach, raz problem z chłodnicą, ale silnik wciąż trzyma się dobrze. Po drodze gdzieś była wymiana wiązki kabli od akumulatora i zamka centralnego. Delikatnie ruda zaatakowała, ale i to zostało usunięte. Autko nigdy mnie nie zawiodło i chociaż trochę trzeszczy w środku, tkanina z fotela kierowcy trochę się przetarła, to wydaje mi się, że spokojnie będzie jeźdźić 5 albo więcej lat. Tym bardziej, że boje się tych super turbo uber doładowanych współczesnych silników typu TSI.

is it a 1.9 TDI? i have such fabia 04 bought around 2015 at 220kkm for 3k euro, only had had minor issues now at 370kkm the electric doors are junk, and rubber vaccumhoses crack, main coolant pipe rust "engine out job" but put a rubber patch and clamp on no leak 100kkm since. Great very cheap and fast VAG car drives as a sack of potatoes - the gearing is the best for any standart VAG TDI 3 gear in roundabouts at 20km/h and up to 100km/h direct to 5 gear perfect almost as convinient as an automatic
