- Ramirez takes MacLeod out in a boat on a Scottish loch to teach him the art of balance. However, MacLeod ends up discovering something far more important: as an immortal, he cannot drown!

... This scene is missing a huge section out of the middle.
Ramirez: "I don't like haggis!"
Because I wanted him to throw MacLeod into the water angrily simply for telling him the recipe for haggis.
the blending between times was great in this movie and has never been such well done since.
That is called transitioning and you're right, it hasn't. This film was ahead of its time in that respect, I don't think it has been attempted since.
0:27 "And I love Lisa so much!"
Happy Birthday Christopher Lambert!
i love haggis
Rip Sean Connery
the beautiful loch sheil...
Kind of ironic seeing as how Connery is scottish
You are the best! There can be only one!
No idea what I just watched or what the hell happened between talking about haggis and falling off the boat...
It seems very unlikely MacLeod would have grown up on the shore of Loch Sheil and both "not like boats" and be unable to swim.
Throughout most recorded history a majority of *sailors* could not swim, so it doesn't seem all that implausible that MacLeod couldn't do so either.
I remember growing up in the UK in the late 70s and early 80s there was a protracted campaign (fronted by David Wilkie) to get people to learn to swim, because a lot of the population couldn't.
@@KaitainCPS I was born in 1962 in the UK, and I saw all those campaigns, including one with Rolf Harris, Still can't swim.....
Thank you Chris!🤣🤣🤣🤣⚡️💚⚡️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🍷

ah so its like as if he had haggis before but didn't know what was in it.
@2199 Yes, but he grew up in Geneva, Switzerland, and his first language is French.
You've cut out the dialog fool
TheGodParticle GET OUT!!
What's this song?
@2wingo I know that. I was just stating that he was born inthe United States.
get a frenchman to play a scotsman and a scotsman to play a spaniard...sorry egyptian. heh spaniard, that would have sounded silly if he tried THAT accent...
Mark Joseph Kean like a french.an trying to do a Scottish accent? Oh wait...
And an Irish-American playing a Russian....
why edit such a brief scene?
Because I hate you.
@@KaitainCPS That's a great place to start.
