Do none of these drivers know how to control a skid? Seriously. Come to that, throttle control is not their strong suit either. I drive a bone stock, surprisingly factory original 1990 Volvo 240DL estate with an automatic gearbox. I regularly drive roads like these at 100 km/h, or 62 mph with no skids and no problems.
Normally they need to pull it out of the way. They're not idiots, the crews appreciate the help the spectators give and very often the spectators will have their own rope to attach to the car to save the competitors time. It doesn't help to be critical without knowing all the facts.
