There's not even any information online about any prior appearances for "Bash" so for all we know he could either be a character made specifically for this game or a character for a new Pac Man game that the public hasn't heard about yet. I'm betting more towards the first possibility considering the other badnicks were changed to the ghosts when playing as Pac Man.
It's pretty clear that Bash is a new character with a new design that doesn't look like any of the 4 main ghosts outside of him being a ghost, none of the names for Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde are close to "Bash", and he has his own voice while the 4 main ghosts didn't talk with the exceptions of the 80s cartoon, Pac Man World 3 and the Ghostly Adventures series.
I was here for this event. Too bad I never unlocked him.
