Man it's like 90 fights happening this Saturday lmao. Wilder Helenius, Plant Dirrell, Shields Marshall, Mayer Baumgardner, Haney Kambosos. If boxing was like this every week we'd be on top again.
I agree I think every month or two months would be better… it lets the tension and anticipation build up
As a UFC fan and “casual” boxing fan the major problem with boxing is not necessarily the amount of fights being put on it’s the LACK of meaningful fights being put on. Boxing rankings are incredibly flawed there’s multiple champions in every weight class and the few active guys who actually stay active and try to make big fights happen are constantly shit on by the fans when their the ones who put it all on the line (Canelo,Wilder etc.) +boxing corruption I mean i could list off 50 more things lol all i know is I’m blessed to have the UFC being run by Dana White and the ranking system they have in place. Fights like Spence vs Crawford are set in stone before the fighters even sign the contracts lol no if ands or buts if you refuse the fight you lose your ranking and it’s on to the next. That’s where boxing really suffers.

Wilder sounds so good in this presser, I love to hear him give respect to Helenius, who I think is very good (at times), but Deontay seems like a humbler guy these days. I've always loved our American Champ, thru his way up, thru all those title defenses, then the superb trilogy with that bastard Fury (who really is great) - it makes me happy to see Wilder this way. Bombsquad baby. Give him hell Robert. Good card. Looking forward to Saturday

Dirrell knows that if he loses this fight the road closes a little bit more for him . He cant shake or intimidate Plant's confident , poised nature or even get a response from the audience no matter what he says. . Plant's much younger, talented and hasn't been in the wars that take years off a boxer's career like Dirrell has and they both know it . I think thats why Anthony's acting the way he is.
Deontay is a mature human being. He deserves to be champion again! And his KO percentage is truly remarkable! Love the guy!!!

I have to say since deontay got beat by fury the last time he seems to have really become a much more humble grounded person. I got a lot of respect for him and am enjoying listening to him speak.

Wilder doesn't have cardio problems. He came in at career highest and it would make sense that he would gas out. Also, people fail to mention the context of that fight, that fight was fought at such a high pace and the punch output was insane. The fact that wilder lasted that long despite being "tired" as most people suggest actually means that he has good cardio as he was able to recover in between rounds
Nothing wrong with wilder cardio. Fury just drained his energy asap to neutralise the right hand. That's why fury was letting him hit his head in the 3rd fight, as if to show to wilder that his tank's empty
