Thank you! My podcast is audio only, though. I won't be doing any video podcasting. My point is to keep this podcast simple and focused. Besides, we already have David Hurwitz's video channel!
@@bingbongtoysKY Thank you again. My first eight episodes are up and running on CZcams, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and just about all of the major podcast outlets. Enjoy!
Thank you for your kind words, and for listening; please spread the good word. I definitely will cover the weirdos, of course. One obvious example would be Ervin Nyiregyházi. And I also plan an edpisode about the worst Beethoven Piano Sonata cycle ever commercially released in history.
I wrote you back earlier, and I thank you for your kind words. Definitely I have some podcast episodes devoted to "weirdos" on the back burner. The top candidate would be Ervin Nyiregyhazi, of course. And watch for my "world's worst commercially recorded Beethoven sonata cycle" episode! New episodes drop on Mondays and Thursdays, so please let all of your piano lover friends know.
Thanks for replying! Very much looking forward to the upcoming episodes, especially those introducing the now forgotten (for people who don’t listen to piano music that much) pianists, such as Jean Micault and so on. I am recommending the podcast to many of my friends~
Will the recordings and musicians considered herein be exclusively classical? I would love to hear your thoughts on jazz. But I will love to hear your thoughts on whatever topic.
Originally I planned to cover classical piano recordings, but since this is "The Piano Maven," why not include jazz, blues, world music and anything else in the piano world? I think it's a great idea. The balance will likely remain classical, but I'm already thinking of jazz piano recordings that I'd recommend to all keyboard fans. Thank you for your feedback!
Thanks so much! I'm really looking forward to your series. And what a great way to start. The wonderful Ciccolini!
Thank YOU! Please spread the good word about this podcast!

Maybe someday you can make an episode on the weird ones (like Afanassiev etc.)😋. Very nice podcast!

I was wondering what the opening music was in the video?
It's one of the variations in my original composition "Calypso for Piano," played by yours truly!
