  • In today’s video I am sharing with you this tutorial on how I made this DIY paper butterfly baby mobile with my Cricut. it looks darling as baby nursery decor, kid's room decor or could be made as an inexpensive baby shower gift that any mom would love.
    I love Pottery Barn Kids and loved their paper butterfly mobile, but did not want to pay the hefty price of $60 plus shipping. All the materials that I used to make this butterfly chandelier costs me around $5.

      Awww thank you so much! I can’t say enough good things about my cricut. You should definitely look into getting one. I think that is a great idea! You can make so many cute boy things for rooms and parties 🤗.

  • @danielleelizabethkeeley9816

      Hey Dianisha! Thank you so much 🙂. Just a little dab of clear (not white) hot glue 💗.

    I am getting ready to do this for my granddaughter, what svg did you use, most to the butterfly images I see have a head and antenna. Have you ever mailed one of these? Was it hard to untangle? Thanks

    Wow. This is sooo pretty. Thank you from a visual learner on your great tutorial. Did you tie your four tulles to another ring to hang from the ceiling? BTW, I think you are going to be my new best friend. Looking forward to your other tutorials.

      Thank you so much Cecelia, my new BFF 🤗👋🏻. I tied the 4 hanging anchors to the ceiling sandwiched between the peel and pull hanging sticky’s.

    I love your video except that you did not really explain how you attached the butterflies to the filament. The video was in fast motion so couldn't really tell. Did you sandwich the filament between two butterflies with glue? Hot glue? Just a dab in the middle?
    Thank you for a lovely project.

    • @daintyanddapper
      @daintyanddapper  Před 5 lety

      Hi there! I mentioned in the beginning of the video that I used a hot glue gun. However, it’s really personal preference how you want to attach them (hot glue, tacky glue, hole punch and tie them on etc.). I just added a dab of hot glue in the middle. No sandwiching. Hope that helps! 🙂

      Cricut is amazing! I made so many things (& continue to make) for Lilly, her room, parties and more. I’m such an enabler so I vote definitely get one once you’re settled with baby 💕🙂.

    looooooveeee this!!!!! i don’t have a cricket sadly so do you have any alternatives? i’m going to a baby shower in a couple weeks 😊

    • @daintyanddapper
      @daintyanddapper  Před 5 lety +1

      This would make an awesome baby shower gift! Mom will love it. I totally wish I would’ve been gifted one when I was pregnant. You could hand cut them (it will take longer), try looking for a paper puncher or could always go to someone’s house who has one and do it there 😉🙂💕.
