Welcome to the 4th episode of Pete reacting to Brazilian guitarists!
As some of you know, Vinnie is Brazilian and Pete is American. So we thought it would be cool if Pete reacted to some of Vinnie's favourite homeland guitar heroes.
In this episode we have the incredible Andre Nieri with his Brazilian fusion sound. Andre is one of the main Brazilian guitar names around the world at the moment so we were quite excited to check him out.

My suggestion for the next one is either Luís Kalil (overall insane, check his top 10 metal guitar solos) or Paulo Schroeber (economy like no other while doing insane phrasing).

Very good guys Andre Nieri is brilliant. But I hope that I know PAULO SCHROEBER, who was one of the best Metal and Fusion guitarists that Brazil has ever had and that he was known for his high technical level and his way of playing very clean but unfortunately he died in 2011 due to heart problems . Thank you guys

Hi guys! Your reactions are amazing. One note: Nieri technique for fast runs is most of the time fingerpicking (not hybrid picking). For the right hand fingers aproach he hides the pick in his hand using a very smart technique. It is truly amazing! He also uses hybrid picking. See you and keep safe!

Uma das coisas interessantes a respeito dessa apresentação do Nieri no Guitar Idol de 2014 é que há uma banda para acompanhar os participantes. Essa música tem muitos aspectos técnicos e tals, mas o que pega mesmo é o Swing Brasileiro, sei lá, o fato é que o Nieri tocou sem a banda de apoio porque os caras tocavam a música de uma forma, quadrada, e tiveram alguma dificuldade com o ritmo da mesma. Vi essa afirmação numa entrevista do seu agente na época, inclusive o agente é que não aceitou que aqueles músicos o acompanhassem na apresentação.
