this sort of reminds me of the sniper rifles you would find in Borderlands. Too bad it doesn't perform too well. looks good though!

@autonerf Co2 isn't a good idea with plastic parts. If you try something like that, try HPA. I don't think they have small cartridges, but you can still run a bit tank to it.
Not a big fan of the paintjob (it may look better in person), but other than that I really like it! P.S. What is your fav war primary? You mentioned that you would neve use this, so I was curious.

you sould have replace the slide with the bolt action slide from the longstrike... it would look a bit more sniper looking! btw awesome paint job

@MrJdman97 Get abrush a put the paint on it as usual, get a tissue and 'sqeeze' the paint out of the brush as much as you would like (practice a few times). After this just brush it lightly around the project. I would advice practicing loads.

1/2in.foam backer rod(can be found at most hardware stores), some sort of weight for the tip( i'd highly suggest bb's) and hot glue

Add a pump to the barrel extension and make it push the slide and make the barrel shorter and it's some what practical
This isnt the first time nerf copied the community by calling this the alphahawk. I have a theory that they got the idea for the stryfe from the mag-fed barricade.
the longstrike barrel is detatchable, you twist it then pull it off, unless you have glued it onto the blaster lol

if you use krylon paint don't leave it out in the sun to dry, it will bubble and pop. just did that had to re-strip the paint and start all over.
The blaster looks great but if you don't mind me asking why don't you like paypal? I'm not supporting them in some way i'm just curios.
Unique idea, cool vid. People will want it, but since the blaster itself is not worth the time and materials you put into it, you may have to keep it.

Well I don't but I use his and some others techniques to make my own blasters but I know it's annoying how people do just copy him

@Braydendrums2011 go to radio shack, choose your battery sorce, and then find the leds, on the pakage you should find how many volts it can take without the resistiors and find the corisponding voltage

The barrel does decrease range but it doesn't make the gun shoot stock when it's shooting like 40-50 modified

i would also do the barell atachment because it just woudnt feall awkward but then again you are right that it is a down grade than a up grade but you can a specture barell because it is short

in other words a rare rifle from borderlands.
it would probably work better if you used a strongarm instead and replaced the spring with that from a swarmfire wich has the same size spring but stronger
