Mc Nuggets are claimed to be the worst, as far as containing hair from a certain part of our body, that I don’t want to create offense with. These tasted 👅 good 😊 in the time I knew of them, which was 2013, or 2014. I never 👎 encountered any “body byproduct” in them until I heard of it later. The answer was still a “no”, but I quit eating all Mc Donald’s food, due to what very gross 🤮 ingredients I heard was in the hamburger 🍔 patties. Ice cream 🍨 🤮??!! By the way, there’s no real food 🍱 ingredients in the ice cream 🍦 shakes. The 3 famous flavors, chocolate 🍫, vanilla, and strawberry 🍓, are replicated by the use of about 83 different chemicals. This place really grosses 🤮 me out 🤮. It was so much better when I was a boy 👦. Then, was real food 🍱. Your friend, Jeff.
I used to order Mc chicken,cheese burgers and sweet tea. This was one of my favorites . Now I quit due to my low carb diet. I Love it.
I highly recommend that you get a receipt for every restaurant you visit. For example, KFC charged me 3 different prices for the same meal in a two and a half week span. In my last visit, KFC charged me $.30 extra for the biscuit that was supposed to be included in the combo meal I ordered. I’ve been ripped off at McDonald’s and Wendy’s as well. Even Walmart will charge you for unknown items as a way of stealing from the consumer. We leery of any establishment you shop at.
I worked at one of McD's competitors. We were required to give receipts with each order. If the customer had to ask, we weren't doing our jobs properly.
In later years, I was a secret shopper for McDonald's. One of the things I had to note was whether or not I was offered a receipt. If I had to ask for it, they weren't doing their jobs properly. Points were removed for that.
I worked at McDonald's in high school and off and on in college. We were expected to give everyone a receipt unless they directly asked us not to. If someone asked for it what we ACTUALLY assumed was that you think we'll get it wrong and some of my co-workers (mainly those who worked there full time and lost all hope for humanity) would take that to mean you are a "Karen" looking for a way to go off
When, they changed the Cod Fish Sandwich to Wild Caught Pollock, I tried and never ate another fish sandwich at McDonald’s ever again, Pollock not the best cut of fish, it tastes just nasty. Please bring back the Cod!

Technically Pollock is a species of Cod. The original Filet O Fish was actually made from Hake. Still a species of Cod but much less obtainable than the rest.

I always do free surveys on receipts to get free food if there's surveys on my receipt.
Everyone should do this, Burger King basically fed me for a couple of years for free because every receipt had a survey for a free Whopper, and they never check the codes you're supposed to write on the receipt.
Then when you got your free Whopper you get another receipt and then the cycle just continues!
Only once or twice was I refused a receipt because they said you didn't pay anything so there is no receipt but normally they print it off and give it to you out of habit which means another free Whopper.
If I was the CEO...I would bring the company and the food back to the time of the Macdonald Brothers.

Amarillo tx has the cleanest mcdonalds. I use to work there and they made sure we washed our hands after everything we do. They are all under the same owner so any mcdonald in Amarillo is good to go!

Tbh BK always tasted better to me. BMs burgers are larger and more flavorful compared to McDonald's burgers. However that was what I could remember in my teen years. Today McDonald's still has some play rooms which my kids enjoy. With a variety of foods to police from. Since that time I do believe BK has been falling behind. Wished it wasn't so

Asking for your receipt is a result of the person taking your order seeming half asleep and not paying attention and/or blatantly high (we're talking about McDonald's here). But if they think it's "secret shoppers" then cool whatever.
I know my post is late cuz I'm just now finding this one I am a former McDonald's employee and I know for the last couple stores I worked at San Ramon the same branch when it comes to the filet of fish I do know that my stores did not keep any waiting in the warmers because of how really they're ordered instead don't ask the customer to please wait just a little bit longer while they actually put the flag of fish up when it's ordered

Not sure what McD's these redditors worked at or are speaking of but the ones I see in Canada look spotless, and most of the kitchen is visible. Cleanliness is something I'd give McDonald's high marks on.

The shake machine, especially when managers are not there, employees just say no. At Burger King, one guy would just simply say, we’re not selling shakes right now. Yes, we will be having shakes all night, yet the customers never was able to order.

I've stopped at McDonald's three times in ten years because their food is so terrible. I brought Big Mac's home for my four large dogs about 11 years ago...none of the dogs would touch them.

The Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal is delicious and great value. The Big Breakfast is very robust and again priced well.
In the last year the prices have gotten ridiculous, that meal now is way way overpriced, you can by 10 lb of hamburger for what that "value" meal costs now.
Last few times I bought the childs meal or from $1 menu’s for hamburgers I felt nauseous a 1/2 hour later. I decided never eat them again

It is not accurate and irresponsible to say they do not have an opportunity to clean the machines. The machines can be cleaned while serving breakfast because at that time ice cream is not being served anyway so there is a perfect opportunity to clean the machines in every restaurant during the breakfast shift

I will say this, we are told to repeat the order back when we take it to ensure it’s correct. And we repeat it before you pay. Without fail every busy night if someone drives off there’s 1 person who will not listen to us reading the order and will pay for the wrong food. Then get mad at us

Unfortunately McDonald's was actually one of the last REAL ice cream hold outs (among fast food chains, obviously) using what the FDA still qualified as "real ice cream" in all of its restaurants up until about 2017. Many McDonald's do actually still use real ice cream (whether they do or not depends on factors such as their product distribution deals, whether they're franchisee locations, etc.) in some restaurants though, so just ask when you go to your local Micky D's.
