- The journey toward prosperity requires dutiful preparation. We must exercise patience so that God can ready us. What draws us to the destination won’t maintain the promise. Therefore, it behooves us to relinquish it to God. For instance, David was prepared for the fight, which brought Him to the kingdom, but it was His music that maintained the promise. When David played his music, the Spirit of the Lord dwelled in the palace. This approach is what God longs from us. God gifted us life by respiring air into our lungs, with the intention that we create an alluring melody unto Him. To this end, we should continuously play our instrument, sounding praises unto Him, for He is the giver and sustainer of all things.

It took me 6 months to get my current job. SIX. I had a good gpa right out of school, and a degree actually worth something. Despite that, it STILL took me 6 months to land my job, and I love it.
Things that are worth doing are worth waiting long stretches of time and effort in order to get it. The only thing I quit on are quitters.

I raised my kids listening to your sermons, they are 26, 19, 15 and my grandson is 4. I wanted to give them an extra tool. I know the wisdom God gives you those seeds will come forth. My 26 daughter listens on her own now. When they were kids in the morning they listen to Joel and during the day after school as I prepared dinner we would listen to you. Pastor you are a man...a human like me...you are just the messenger not our savior. Ppl forget that the same plug you are attached to, we also can plug into. Your sermons have helped me out of some dark places. You know church didn't prepared me how to be a Christian in the real world. But I listen to you because you teach life skills not just biblical teaching. You have a balance. And because I don't have a mentor, I created them. So, I'll hear your voice in my head or another speaker who also my mentor. Please never think you are not making a difference...in my household and life you have helped me out of deep pits. So thank you and your family... I bet it is not easy. Thanks again.
