Pat Metheny has always had the trumpet as his signature sound on the guitar synth for many years, so it was only natural to actually bring a horn player into PMG and Cuong Vu's playing on Speaking Of Now & The Way Up was just unbelievable especially the sounds he created for the music. Loved their wild collaboration they did together with Vu's band, they matched up very well. Cuong Vu is a fantastic trumpet player and one of the best in the world

I saw the Speaking of Now show twice in the USA. It was the best PMG Group in my opinion. CV and Bona really made it interesting to my ear.

He played the best trumpet feature I know on The Way Up. It is perfect in every possible way and I'll think about this when I die.
