I feel like the only true "innocent" person here was Amy, I feel so horrible for what happened to her. I also wonder if Jimmy meant for her to fall down the stairs while drunk, or if he would use it to discredit her is she talked about his "jokes"
If anything I'd bet it was one of his games that lead to her death, something unintentional but also something he treated like another Tuesday which could have lead to him snowballing into a more sinister Kevin McAllister as he realized that he could get away with murder
I mean, it depends on what counts as innocent. Thus far, it hasn't specified whether the accusations against Dr. Bose were true or not, and Harvey may have only meant to force Jimmy to leave, not to kill him. Plus, Jimmy shot him with a crossbow and nearly electrocuted him to death.
A lot of his actions can be seen as a kid trying to hide his actions or as cruel jokes. He gave Amy the achol, but he had no idea he needed to watch her and she ended up dying.
Jimmy didn't... But Hugo did.
Jimmy was also a kid at this time, so it was my understanding that he gave her the alcohol to make her forget about her hand. I don't think he originally planned to get her drunk, he just realized that if anyone found out she burned her hand and it was his fault he'd be in massive trouble, so he "played doctor" out of sheer panic trying to shut her up.

I'm blaming it on mark panicking, because let's not forget that Jimmy also: Stole from and harrassed an underage girl, made her drink alcohol that led to her death. Falsely accused Bose of pedophilia and child abuse after giving them a broken glass sandwich, leading to their arrest and suicide. Maimed Harvey with a crossbow, attempted to electrocute him, almost succeeded in burning the hotel down, and eventually murdered him.
I know for a *fact* that I'm missing a few of the atrocities this guy committed, but point is that Jimmy deserves no mercy.

Something kinda funny about this game is Maya walked into a hotel sees her friends tied up in closets and a man is chasing her around trying to kill her but she find a ghost box and decides ya know whtlqt, ima solve some murders. Then also get super violent hallucinations out of nowhere and she doesn't bat her eye at it, then she watches people get murdered and all she does is make sure she noted it lmao
Also police see 3 people die in a hotel all filing reports against Jimmy and they dontneven connect it

Like many don't know where he can and can't go like the staircase, basement and ground floor i think it is, But mark seems to figure out that least with ground floor. I love how the game structures the stories from least sympathetic towards jimmy to most sympathetic. You start of thinking “wow this guy is a monster” and then they gradually make you doubt by wondering if Dr. Bose was truly innocent, and if Harvey was dangerous, and if Jimmy was even safe at home

For Harvey, he knew what Jimmy was doing and tried to tell Rose but she wouldn’t listen so he took matters into his own hands (which led to him going crazy) and poor amy was harassed and threatened all the way to her death when she just wanted her toy. I never doubted the fact that Jimmy was a monster

I played this game too and did that, somehow my Jimmy glitched teleported outside the room and bonked me when I was about to lock the door.

Mark, here's a tip!! Whenever Jimmy is hiding in the bathroom, you won't hear any footsteps or hear any of his calling out for you after the sound of the door closing. So that is a BIG clue he is still in the room with you. To evade him, you've got to run to the door and IMMEDIATELY click on the "Leave the Room" command. Once you're outside, QUICKLY use the key on the door to lock him in and trap him for a lil bit. Then you gotta run and hide in another room until he's far away.

Thank you for saying this, it made me sad when he made that comment, there is already so much stigma and misinformation around people with DID, I really wish Mark was more educated on it before saying what he did
This has really been bothering me too. It's one of the few times where I feel like a creator has done a good job with this type of character and not spreading disinformation about DID but most of the players don't look at the note. I wish there were something about it at the beginning like a disclaimer..

@@leadman7600 No, DiD is Dissociative Identity Disorder, which used to be MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder). It’s when someone’s mind fractures, creating multiple personalities in one body
People believe Jimmy has DiD because of Hugo, but this is people believing people with DiD are evil (something Split blatantly did), when that’s not the case. ‘Hugo’ might just be visual story telling of what’s happening in Jimmy’s head or his insanity, but that’s not how DiD works
As a system that comment did make me kind of sad, especially since Mark is a big comfort youtuber. I can't blame him for being uninformed, with all of the stigma. But it'd be nice if he got informed. I'm glad the developer stated Jimmy doesnt have it, this Is one of my favourite games!
