If core class “ends” I think it’ll only because they want to revamp the small scale price point into something else for a few years like Siege and Earthrise bringing back Micromasters
I don't think it'll end tbh maybe "core" as a name, but these size classes have existed since Beast Wars.
Technically Core as it exists now is an extension of what Legends Class was rebranded as during Thrilling 30. True scout classes/basics were last seen with DOTM and a little bit in AOE due to repaints. Core class figures are interesting to me because they seem in part take the niche of scouts (deluxes of smaller characters do this as well, albeit in a different budget paradigm), as well as the Cyberverse commander figures of old, being a larger and more posable alternative to Legion Class, the original incarnation of Legends

We need more studio series 86 core class
Honestly it would be a shame to see it end, I have 3 of these lil guys (Legacy Bomb Burst, Iguanus and Shockwave) and all 3 of them have been rlly good and extremely fun to play around and pose with even for their small size
True, if Hasbro made more movie characters in Core size like my 3 more new faves besides the ROTB Maximals like Orion,D-16, and B-127 (ONE ver.)? I'd be so happy.
I mean, I have no problem with Voyager and Deluxe Class figures of those characters if they were revealed soon but imo just thought that would be a cool if they had Core figures too, for cheap alternative reasons, or if not? I guess I can go with the Mainline ones for cheap alternative reasons too lol.

@@chriscarpenter3370 They meant Legacy Shockwave with the red radar dish. Me, if there is anything I want to at least finish my search is to find all three Legacy Wave 1 figures (Skywarp, Iguanus, and Hot Rod) which have the pieces of the secret sword. Of all Core Class figures ever released for the past four years, my biggest hype was Legacy Evolution Volcanicus, even though many others were more excited for Dinoking complete with the missing shoes and weapons.
I've always felt the Core Class would be a perfect class for small Constructicons and maybe even Cyberjets.
I'm hoping that core class is not ending I love this size class it's inexpensive and I love this class do not end this class Hasbro
Same here because the Core figures remind me of the Legion Class and Activators figures of Transformers that I always loved growing up.
Ngl, I'd be saddened if Core Class ended imo since in my defense? like the Legion Class figures of Transformers I use to buy alot when a kid, I always thought they were a cool figure class imo.
I'm not saying I have a problem with normal sized Transformers figures but ever since when I was a kid? I was also always a stinker for mini Transformers toys for cheap alternative reasons lol.
Transformers definitely needs the small core/legends price point for a few reasons. It gives smaller characters a good size class like rattrap and to that it can be used to give old characters a small update like energon megatron or BM cheetor.
Causal/young fans have a small price point for a desk toy or something easy to afford.
There’s plenty of potential/possibility with something like a core class but hasbro needs to make it interesting doing the same few characters won’t do it there’s gotta be fresh ideas thrown in take the dinobots a core class combiner could be really cool having a core class devestator, computron, predaking, etc
True, and now that we have BW Dinobot for 2025?
It also would be awesome to see more Maximals in Core Class size imo, so that way they could be smaller than their Autobot ancestors due to how other anyone felt about them being the same size and all even tho' I didn't mind it lol.
I would really love a small class Devastator as an alternative to the SS86 one. A perfect rival for Volcanicus, so they can pick on someone their own size... Literally.
@@Zyugo I would be onboard for a Core Devastator. They'd look good next the 86-version coming next year/year after.
That'd be a shame, since Core Class are literally the only Transformers I collect 😆 I've actually been thinking that Core Class should become a separate toy line. It's taking forever for them to just release a couple each wave and I'm impatient! We've had the vans and the Seekers, we should at least get the Datsuns next, if not the Lambos!

Ngl core class, dollar store legends class they make good cake toppers for bday. I keep forgetting doing one.
For right now I'm thinking Core will end(or at least take a hiatus) from mainline. I think it's still likely that we'll get reuses for the ones that are out like Night Slash Cheetor, CatSCAN, unrealesed green deco Energon Megatron, Nightstalker. And if next year's BW Dinobot is toon colors, then they can do toy colors, BW Grimlock and/or a Cyber Raptor(they have somewhat similar colors, so I don't know if they'd do both.).
I don't have any Cores, but I want some. I really like Core Class and really hope it never ends
I like Core Class for the characters that are actually small such as BW Rattrap and BWII Tasmania Kid.
I live core class. I hope it never ends.
if it were to end tho, I'd like to at least have an official announcement beforehand, I need to stock up on as many of them as I can.
I hope core class isn't discontinued, I really like them. Some really good figures, others not so good. Whatever is happening though, Hasbro hasn't told us yet.
They gonna change the name rename like legends class to core class
I'm not interested in the slightest for core class but I'm all for those who loved them. But it was such a loss that Ark and Nemesis weren't a core class playset instead of being a transformers figure
Opinion respected on the Core figures but yeah, I also would've gotten a Core Class Metroplex too besides the Ark, not saying that I have a problem being a giant but just thought it would be cool if he had a mini toy and all, kinda like Airwave from the Earthrise toyline.
Meh, I wouldn't mind, but I'd like to see something similar *cough* Mini-Cons *cough*
i really want a Legacy Core Class Energon Optimus Prime and Legacy Core Class Cliffjumper with the Kingdom Mold
If It Does End I Hope They Will Bring Micromasters Back,Release Them In 4 Packs, And Give Them The Same Articulation As Those Minicons

Hopefully not, my guess is it will go on hiatus in 2025 and then return in 2026 as "Scout" class with a new G1 style Optimus prime and Megatron 😅.
I preferred legion class and idk why, I love core and it needs to stay

Far as I know that one is still coming next January I believe. It seemed to be the last Core figure listed for mainline.

It’s a good way for others to get less expensive representations of characters and a way to give an accurate scale to smaller characters. Just because you don’t personally buy it doesn’t mean others don’t.
