Thank you Jim , just bought my first router . My wife wanted me to make circles and your instructions. Spot on. Thank you again N Anthony
Great tutorial. Thankyou
Thanks for this. I’m a total noob but I want to create two 11” outer diameter rings. I was going to get a CNC company make it but because of this I might try it myself.
Excellent video! I learnt a lot! Thank you very much! I subscribed to your channel. Blessings
That bandsaw jig looks great- i1ll be making that
What model is that router? amazing tutorial, thanks for sharing!
Insanely helpful! I'm going to make a running wheel for my cat. Wish me luck!
Do you have a video on how you made the Trammell for beginners
Does the router method give a better surface finish on the cut edge than the bandsaw method?
what about th table saw jib for a table saw?
Can you do the bandsaw method with a scroll saw?
Double sided tape a sacrificial board to your wood if you don’t want to have a centre hole in the finished circle.
When using the bandsaw jig, would adding a sacrificial piece of 1/4 inch ply eliminate the chip out?

Video interessantissimo! vorrei iscrivermi a Wood Magazine ma non mi fa registrare, qualcuno mi sa dire come fare? Grazie-
Would you mind making a boxing speed bag platform that rivals the $2,000 model that is currently on sale with Title Boxing? I want to learn woodworking in general, but I really want to make a beautiful and sturdy one that I can sell for some extra money. I live in California, and 40 bucks an hour just ain't cutting it 😫 if you can believe that.
I'm thinking of stacking plywood circles to make a really thick platform. (Probably 8 pieces of 1/2" plywood)Yeah, that thick. It must have rock solid rebound and no vibration. I want to sand it down to perfection, weatherproof it, stain it and varnish it.
Put tape on the cut and it will eliminate most of the chipping
My problem is that I cannot diver or drill a hole in the center of my board.
How about instead of moving the router you just spin the plywood like with the bandsaw
hi, have u tried this method of spinning the wood? how it turned out?

Not that you let this go up on your site, but the band saw idea is crap, you know it I know it. The band saw never stay in line and dances and pushes itself side to side. Just watching your final cutting of that disc we could see it was coming around short of be true leaving around a 1/2 inch flat spot
I don't want the hole in the middle.
Don't drill it clear through.
@@brumblebuffin11 dont want any hole in it at all
Hey Gary; I just bought a Bosch deluxe router guide on Amazon. It was around 30 bucks. It includes a piece that looks like a suction cup with a metal rod sticking out of the top. They tell you to tape this piece to your board in the middle so that you don’t have to drill a hole. Hope that helps.
Good content but all your videos are dark, fuzzy, and low resolution.
You should have measured the circle that you routered. You made an assumption that it's 16". If your 8" was off, it would not have been 16".
