I don't know about the rest of the movie but those out futs wouldn't protect them from bread yeast.
Those Armor Helmets at 17.20 were the same ones used on a Italian movie about WW1 fighting the Austrians, the Italian General made a couple of his Soldiers dressed in armor suits to get to the barb wire so they can cut it and let the rest of the Infantry rush thru,it was suppose to be bullet proof,unfortunately it was not Machine Gun Proof and they were all mowed down

The beginning of this is so similar to the opening of zombie flesh eaters,with scenes of new yorkaccompanied by radio communications.
I guess a lot of Italian directors loved New York, plenty of shots from it or partly filmed there.
They even borrowed Ian McCulloch from Zombie 2.
They also recycled plenty of music from Hell of the Living Dead here.
I remember when this movie was released in Mexico and it was known as "Alien llega a la Tierra" (Alien arrives to Earth).
Of course, nothing related to the movie "Alien" from 1979.
I watched for 45 minutes before I realized this was not the award winning " The Invasion of the Plernokrants!"

Yeah I use to watch these Italian Sci Fi and other European Sci Fi on Creature Feature and the Ghoul back in the late 1970s to the 1980s here in Detroit,soon to be moving to Ohio, my neighborhood has turned into its own Monster movie with creepy unwelcomed foreigners surrounding our house and neighborhood.Saw that one Italian one with the Giant Crocodile, that one where they were in that Cave with the creatures looking like round rocks and the Zombies in that Island where the opening scene with that Sail Boat entering NY harbor, The one about that Motorcycle Gang and the Rats set in the future,Oh yeah the best one was that one made in Italy,the Demons in that movie Theater ,chick scratches her finger goes to the bathroom and turns into a demon, everybody else can,t get out the main entranced sealed off.Those Italian Horror flicks have the chicks show alot of skin and they use Real Live Skeletons

13:39 looks like they were using some of the stuff people MADE for DR WHO in this movie, look at the computer console and tell me THAT'S NOT from the set of a DR WHO episode from the 70's HAHAHAHAHAHAHA great idea but with 80's effects. hope someone REMAKES this, with modern tech THIS would be TERRIFIYING!!

Are science fiction movie that ends with killing the monster always has on egg left somewhere else I enjoyed part of this movie
A strange ship arrives at harbour with no crew or passengers aboard.
Yet soon strange events take place with people imploding with glory scenes.
Green football - like eggs of an alien origin emerge as the causation of all the bizzare phenomen.
It's dated 1970s era sci fi ( all rather irrational ) yet well acted for a pretty average plot.
Worth a watch if you are reslly into 70s movie buff ~ otherwise its a bit of a long yawn ( just sayin' ).
Dated; long winded and just plain strange for the most part.
