I am not Maharashtrian (west Indian )I don't understand language but Sairat is my favourite movie & its all songs too because of melodious music.I don't like to Watch remakes of this movie in other languages even in hindi , because original is original.Audience badane ke liye issi movie par hi hindi dubbing ki ja sakti thi, tabh bhi impact acha padta. Rinku aur hero boy achi hindi bol lete hain toh dubbing bhi kar sakte the. Any how, I love this movie so so much.

I am house wife but good listener of music.I watched many marathi movies.I also like Mumbai pune Mumbai & some other movies but forgot names.I watched Tamil ,Telegu ,korian , Chinese, Japanese & Turkish movies.I don't think that to learn any language is compulsory to understand any movie that is why Charlie Chaplin's silent movies are hits without any dialogue.I know remake movies spoiles original impact of story&music.Being Punjabi I know how they (in hindi movies) spoils punjabi hit music by twisting and turning,also bully on original singers and hole them to spoile their carrier.I mean it they spoiled the carrier of "J Star "original singer of main tera boy friend tu meri girlfriend .बेचारे को music industry से out कर दिया।
I don’t understand the language as well but this song belongs to my workout playlist ( yes I know it’s a slow song ). There’s something about this song that just draws you in no matter what mood you’re in , thank god for ajay-atul ❤️

Marathi movie Sairat
I am a Bengali and so even though I don't understand Marathi but I was amused by this particular song. The composition radiates sheer brilliance. The film is also extremely beautiful. I could even find some impressions of the great SATYAJIT RAY in how the director narrates the story visually.
Another great composition by the same duo is "khel mandla" from the movie 'natrang' & sung by Ajay himself!

Am from Karnataka, my brother was praising praising this movie, and I was like what so GRT about it, and then I watched it just to criticize it, now am speechless in a good way

Ajay-Atul are one of the best composers we have.. This was recorded in sony studios (formerly MGM) in Hollywood with Mark Graham as the conductor.
You should listen to these songs with headphones on, sairat jhala jee and this one
The starting symphony of this song also played in Oscars too .
Loved the fact that most of the time Rick was just enjoying the music 😂♥️
Music is out of the world, but picturization and innocent acting is also so endearing and perfect. The build-up of his craziness, engrossed in his own lovely reflections, followed by the dive, the stillness of the music at the realization that they are near each other, the soft ripples of water, slow very gentle start of the music, soft emotional transition as he passes her (the Marathi word that comes to mind is 'haluwar') and back to crazy self-involved reflections as he walks back elated unaware of his surroundings and final crescendo as she reappears on the scene in a different style. Amazing synergy!
To top it off - the other (more popular) song shows the crazy abandon in a very different, unstructured, chaotic way. Amazing that both the highly nuanced, controlled, orchestrated, symphonic score for the fantasy and the somewhat raw, unfiltered, highly traditional score for the reality are by the same music directors in the same movie! A big bow to the composers!
Sairat was my first Marathi film too. It was too endearing 😍 A true masterpiece 👌 The female lead character is one of the most strongest female character ever....
