I thought you were gonna talk about insecurities, because to me "girls like me" has this "im not as good as the other girl" vibe. But anyway, great stories, rejection is part of life too no matter how "perfect" we try to be. I love the song. Amy your vocals are just mindblowing. :)

For me, it's more about realizing when a guy is not going to like you. It's not about insecurities but just the truth. Like that movie moment when the "perfect" guy FINALLY notices the girl thats never even talked to him or hung out with him and suddenly he's in love with her... like THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. FRYING PAN OF TRUTH!!!! Just because you're nice doesn't mean you're his type, and you don't have to be insecure or think you're ugly or terrible to accept the fact that you're not someone's type. "Girls like her" are his type. and you can't change that Go watch the movie "he's just not that into you" lol
