One of my old foremen told me people would say I was gay for using that trick, I don’t care and that dude was a tool. Especially nice for when doing rj45’s
If there is no wire stripper, you can use the rip cord and flush cutter to cut off the cable jacket. Or a pair of scissors will help, but I would like to suggest using a wire stripper to avoid damaging the wires.
Wow, this was pretty bad actually lol. I just bought your keystones and stumbled across this video, I almost bought the vertical cable ones and the faster punch tool but it was $100 more. Do you not make a faster tool for this?
Thanks for your comment. The yellow tool here is used to help insert the cable, but it will be a bit difficult to crimp the cable. You'd better use a professional punch-down tool to press the Ethernet cable and cut the excessive cable.
This is like the blind teaching the deaf how to see. I don't know that I've ever seen a video create so many unnecessary steps for a possible good connection.
@@vcelink1671 no don't listen to that person it was very understandable without audio and you can see the letters fine. i like how clear this video was not many video can do that with out audio. it was perfect!
That trick using the cable jacket to separate the wires was great. Thank you.

What is the point of changing the "High" and "Low" setting on it with the wheel? Is it the return force of the spring?
They are designed for different AWG Ethernet cables.
Thanks, very useful
Glad to be of help to you: )
