- Postman Pat was just trying to do his job; he wasn’t looking to cause trouble for anyone. And then that hunk of metal that sounds a bit like Ringo Starr came along: Thomas the Tank Engine. Thomas the train and Pat the postman could’ve been friendly, but that ship sailed once Jess the cat became Jess the flat.
When they woke up this morning, I can’t imagine the people of Greendale anticipated a Mad Max style battle to take place between the cheery mailman and the anthropomorphised train. But, y’know… life just throws wild stuff at you sometimes. This would definitely come under the category of “Wild Stuff.”

also i was for thomas all the way, not because i watched more of ttte than postman pat as a child(and still a fan of rws/ttte), but because thomas felt genially sorry for jess, and it was pat's fault in the first place that his innocent cat died. thomas also applied emergency brakes, he did all what he could and should have done in that situation.

I just like how Thomas was trying to be reasonable at first, but then resorted to violence as soon as Pat started assaulting him. As anyone would do in that situation.
For those STILL wondering why the trains need drivers, it's because originally they were a back up to take care of matters in case the trains either didn't know where to go or were clonked out/not doing what they were supposed to.
From all of the railroaders and railwaymen watching this, not only is this entirely pat’s fault, but I think we can all say we’re surprised that Thomas’s crew didn’t just immediately get out at start cussing out pat

@@TahsinSefa it’s called track speed, and when you cross the gates when they’re down, anything that happens next is on you. Plus we could see that Thomas had gone into emergency application on his brakes, so he did all he reasonably could.

And the face gives off different vibes. Thomas not speaking seems to be based off the Allcroft days when models were used in the show and him speaking gives off the vibe of when he was switched over to HiT, which is the start of his animated era.
For those who don't know Postman Pat is a British stop-motion animated television series first produced by Woodland Animations. The series follows the adventures of Pat Clifton, a postman who works for Royal Mail postal service in the fictional village of Greendale (inspired by the real valley of Longsleddale near Kendal)
Each episode follows the adventures of Patrick Clifton, a friendly country postman, and his black and white cat Jess, as he delivers the post through the valley of Greendale. Although he initially concentrates on delivering his letters, he nearly always becomes distracted by a concern of one of the villagers, and is always keen to help resolve their problems. The best part about this whole video is Ringo's narration for Thomas and Harold whenever they speak in most of the video.
Also Pat's psychotic rampage could've been prevented if he had the responsibility to close his door so that his cat Jess won't wander onto the tracks at a level crossing. Otherwise, his act of causing some chaos will have him thrown in Greendale Prison.

Thomas was my favorite childhood tv show. The point is that when a train is about to cross the rails don’t stand on the track. Thomas didn’t even mean too hit the cat. And of course the mailman wants to kill him. Thomas tried to stop. And the fact that Harold the Helicopter gets killed just sucks
