I'm a big Sixx Am fan. And seeing Dj Ashba in G'n R is fuckin amazing. But it feels like Slash casts to big of a shadow for fans to accept Dj. Dj Ashba is one of the best guitarists EVER!!! But this is Slash's rightful spot, as he also is one of the best ever. Lets face it G'nR will always be Axl and Slash and that's all there is to it.

dj was at my house a few months ago. just hanging out. we went to school together in high school. he came home to visit. i had not seen him in years. i did bmx tricks for him on my bmx bike and we talked about the stuff we did as kids. good times.

I reckon a majority of members need to stay in place for it to be the same band. Not necessarily Slash but if say Izzy and Duff were still there. it's simple!... he doesn't mimic slash on his guitar playing style, its just, It is Guns n Roses you know, i mean the whole band, the songs,... and the one who wrote the song is slash,, so that's why, you saw him as slash.. but if he writes his own songs,, it is definitely Ashba.
slash could play high, drunk, stoned, and with a cigarette in his mouth with much more feeling that ashba will ever dream of.. guns n roses aren't the same as they used to be..

Actually, he admires Slash and also consider it an honor to be in GNR. He's only chering up the public and I have to admit that, even if I wish to see the reunion of the classic line up (Axl, Izzy, Slash, Duff and Steven), this new lineup is doing an excellent job and Axl regain his voice too.
