  • Oxbow Meteor-Hammer, or Puppyhammer as it is commonly referred to, is a prop used in object manipulation and flow arts. Proper sizing is essential to maintain the balance between minimizing ground strikes in off-body meteor mode, while maximizing poi length in worn oxbow positions. Additionally included is a quick overview on the assembly of a PuppyHammer using materials from LanternSmith, and Phoenix Rope from Flow on Fire.

      Thank you!
These components are made by lanternsmith (lanternsmith.com) which is a great place. Through Flow on Fire on Etsy you can also get the same components, and if you use my code "GEOMATTRIC" at checkout which helps to support me you'll also get free shipping ( this link should insert it automagically: bit.ly/FlowonFire_Geomattric ) . Some other companies that sell similar props/components which arent pictured in my video: EarthForge 3D, Kojin Prop Shop.

So you never say if i need ot cut the rope or what im doing with that wingspan length and total length. Instructions unclear.

Your like tie a not 3 inches below step 1 and im just like I just watched a video on why dont need nots because there are those nodepill things. Definitley runs too fast and missing clear details

The node pills replace the need for knots in the middle of the rope. The knots indicated here are to give the capsules at the end something to grab onto. You could alternatively put a washer on the end and melt the rope but in your case I'd probably keep it simple (and adjustable) and use a knot.
You measure your wingspan length and then multiply to get the total length of the assembly you need. It's how long you want the thing to be.
