Another great (re) visit Matt :) Willie Deane (of the pewter mug) was born in 1897 and died in 1966. His daughter was the lady whose name was on the Guide dogs for the blind certificate. Willie's dad (also a William) & Mum had a shop for many years(1891-1939) at Bootle Street (just off Deansgate) in central Manchester which was a confectioners & restaurant. x

The item at 9:18 with the screwdriver handle is a gloss paint scraper- you heat the paint until it blisters then use this to get into the corners , this one has a cut away back making it handy for removing paint on a curved surface

It's not just you, Matt. That picture, as well as the wallpaper, front door curtain, and clock in that front hallway, the picture of 'Willie', and the painting where you're wondering where it is, all give me the same feeling. I've definitely seen them before, and I'm pretty sure it was in one of your videos. 😊 Are you absolutely certain you haven't been here before? Wasn't this the place where the front hall clock chimed and freaked you and Andy out bcuz it's not a functioning clock?

A very long time ago, I had a little notebook like this, when one left school, you asked friends and classmates to write little poems in it, to remind you of them later in life.
I thought I was crazy when you started moving through the house. Especially when I saw the clocks in the hall. And then boom! You and Andy explored that house before.

Hi Matt, I have to be honest, I was feeling a bit unsure when you were back in the UK doing my favourite exploring in old houses and you were on your own with Bear. Was I going to miss Andy, would it be the same, but I loved it, you are doing an amazing job as you always did. The comment about Margaret Thatcher and the milk reminded me of the joke about her being the only cow who didn’t give milk.😂 When you put the pewter mug with the photo of Willie Deane I thought that was so touching, they were meant to be together.

There's Precious Bear! And yes! You and Andy were here. In today's video, you picked up a metal wick topper and asked what it was. When you and Andy were there, you had that same thing in your hand when the clock chimed! You even sipped out of one of the wine jugs! It was so good seeing the old vid and today's! Thank you Matt. Next to the hand written note you asked what those two items were. Both are wood tools. First a scraper for edges on cabinet to scape paint and varnish. Second was a tap for hammering into wood to make key holes and such.
I watched the video you and Andy did at this house not that long ago. Interesting that you can find new things to ponder. Great video as usual. 😊

As you were saying you had a really strange feeling that you had been there before, I got the exact same feeling because of the clock mounted on the wall and the nautical themed mirror beside it. You've been somewhere that had a clock next to an almost identical mirror in the past!!!

Hi, Matt at 49:29 the word in the autograph book is 'alteration'! Yes I do remember you coming here with Andy as you mentioned how steep the stairs were, but you are right, I can't remember a lot of this place and I am sure that you DID show us some new stuff! Mentioned it before, we had a Jack Russell for 15 years, when she was about 8 she was diagnosed with Cushing disease, systems are periodic shaking etc, get Bear checked out, just to make sure.
With medication Bear can live to a good age, hopefully I'm wrong, but best to be on the safe side.
Regardless another great video, will pass the word here on the Sunshine Coast, BC, CANADA
It's freezing cold and in Northern England, you see his breath when he talks. We had a Jack Russell crossed with a Patterdale, she wasn't eating and was acting as if she wasn't well, got to the vets and as soon as we enter she went back to normal, they do tend to shake a lot it's their nature, they are bursting with energy and love hunting for things, some of our neighbours used to use her for ratting, they would knock at our door and ask us can we borrow your Jack Russell as rats had taken over some of the neighbours gardens, poison doesn't do the job and it's harmful to other crestures

That little book we called autograph books where your friends could write cute and funny little things. I had one in the 50's in Indiana. By the way, I'm also sure you and Andy explored that house before. It doesn't matter if you did because it was still fun watching you and Bear discover new things. Love your adventures!

I watched the previous video with Andy just last week.....and to make matters worse you even did a follow up video! I'm only part way into today's video.....I'm waiting for the penny to drop. The photograph of the "old woman" looks very much like "Old Mother Riley" A fictional comic character of stage and screen from the 1930's through to the 50's played by actor Arthur Lucan (1885-1954)
Photo of woman, was in “This Crazy Abandoned House had something hidden upstairs” posted Jun 11, 2023 and photo, was at the 8 minute 52 second mark. I knew this place looked familiar...too familiar. Great video in daytime 👍
The tool in the kitchen is a paint scraper so you would heat up the gloss paint or use nitromorse and scrape the paint off the wood . The shape can get into any groove and curve . Hope this helps .
I remember we bought our first house and the woodwork was all painted. So my hubby decided we’ll have it all stained.
Many a night after work and weekends spending hours with Nitromorse, rubber gloves and that funny scraper trying to scrape the paint off the architraves. I burnt my arms terribly.

The implement that you're holding at 16:28 is part of a manicure kit. Depending on the person it was either used to push your cuticle up or clean beneath your nails. 🥰❤🐶❤️🐾
That metal tool is for holding against the glass to protect it when you use a blowtorch to burn off the paint on the wooden window sashes and frames. Great video BTW ❤
I really enjoyed that last explore and that book you was going through. It really does need to be saved. It’s such a shame you can’t and that picture you showed of that long black bridge I think it was Bournemouth it’s such a shame someone can’t come in and save these things. Yes it would be nice to go back to some of your old explorers and see what they are like now.👍
That book from Ethal in 1917 with the poems was fantastic…..my family are from Heywood which is 5 minutes from Middleton…..when these people were writing in this book my great grandparents were living a stone’s throw away….who knows….they may have even known each other ❤ also my great grandfather served with the Lancashire Fusiliers all through WW1. He lost a leg and was gassed in Ypres in 1916. When he was based in Bury that is where he met my great grandmother and they married in 1906 x

LOL!! I recognized the kitchen immediately from a past video with Andy. I thought I WAS losing my mind! 😂 Isn’t this the one where the clock in the entry made a sound and you guys thought the house was haunted. There was also some brooms that fell from the top of the stairs and landed in an upright X blocking the bottom.
A banjo I think was the word you were looking for with the guitar type instrument.

Hello Matt!!! This house reminded me of the one that Bear found a man under the bed hiding. And yes, I have times when I have lived in 5 different states, and I'll see something or someone and I have to stop and think, do I know them? was it hear or another place? and with you traveling all over the place, you too are going through it. 💋❤
The item you thought was a stirrup is called a spur, worn on the heel of your riding boot. Really enjoyed that explore. 😊

The book with writing in is a "Friendship Book". The owners friends would write nice things or add little moments - drawings, paintings. It's equivalent to our Facebook page but before the internet. 🙂

I remember this explore and Andy wearing the football cap you came across.I think Andy showed his bum on the stairs. nevertheless it was a good explore and i enjoyed your take on it and you take time looking over the contents within. The book @ 50:17 is just an autograph book, very popular back in the day- unlike today where an autograph book is for the famous back then they were little limericks or poems from friends and family

At 18 : 13, that is Copper Luster Ware with enamel paint decoration. It's getting harder to find in some places and the prices in America are up on it now. Much love.

I went back and watched the old video from June and it’s interesting to see some of the same things you pointed out in each video like the chair with all the little holes in it and some things that you noticed in the most recent video like the cup with Willy’s name on it, that you could see on the table back in June but you didn’t even notice it then or at least you didn’t remark about it. It was kind of cool to go back even though that wasn’t your intentional! At least now we know you’re not bonkers!

I remember this you and Andy explored this place as Andy put the USA world cup hat on all so the one clock started chiming when you to was in the front room shame people have nicked the copper pipes and been looking for something to steal and trashed the place it's just really wrong to do that even if the owner has passed away shame houses get abandoned and just left to rot when I can't get a house of my own and plus people being homeless and on the street you know you have been there before good bear on guard looking after you wat a good boy 🐶🙂

That cement columned gateway looks very similar to one that's in Toronto Canada called "The Princess Gates" outside of our Canadian National Exhibition grounds by the lakeshore.
But the postcard in the house shows the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin I believe.
Okay this is going to sound weird, but i have definitely seen this house b4, I was watching an old video that Matt/Andy and Bear did the other day, Matt commented on the stairs and how steep they are, Matt also commented on the same cane and said the EXACTLY same thing about it.
That house and those pictures were familiar to me, too. I know that I have seen another group investigating there......I just can't remember which group(s)!! Oh, Bear needs a bath. 😂

I do remember you and Andy exploring a place that also had an entrance hall with two clocks on opposing walls - like this place. And I think one of the clocks went off of its own accord. Probably not the same place, but similar. 🤔
Both you and Bear have been here before. Bear even posted 2 videos of this location, on his own channel 🐶😜 Date: 12/06/23, Titled "Did Bear catch paranormal activity in this ABANDONED house". One video is with music, the other is without. It wasn't you who had an issue with the stairs, it was Bear 😉 In his video you comment on how steep the stairs are, and he almost rolled backwards.

No it’s an autograph book. I recognise many of the poems . We had books like this at school in the early seventies. Friends would also draw pictures in it

38:20 that’s an old flip phone that’s missing voice talking part. Great place, and it does look familiar with the person hidden upstairs and they made noise running down the stairs really fast, but I remember the chiming clock, however there’s less stuff now, but I remember Andy going through all the tapes upstairs-long room (joking about certain tapes tehe😆), magazines, and amazing paintings. 🍻👍 edited to add that at the top of the stairs, some portrait had somehow fell over when Matt was trying to go downstairs, and wasn’t sure if Bear knocked something to shake portrait loose and Matt grabbed it to make sure it didn’t fall down as well as not falling or sliding down the stairs himself. But I remember now, it was a dirty old mans home 🤦♀️. 🍻🍻
