when i watched last season i actually wanted seiya to appear in the R season when darien broke up with serena. That would have been cool :)

Actually, in the manga, Mamo-chan was sweet and romantic. =)
And Usagi never fell in love w/ Seiya--Seiya only fell in love w/ her because she reminded him of his Princess. (oh, Seiya was a girl btw XD)
In her heart, Usagi knew that she would always belong to Mamo-chan.
Usagi was never in love with Seiya. It only looked as if because Seiya reminded her of Mamo-chan. That's why she doesn't let him kiss her. And in the manga, Seiya was reminded of Princess Kakyuu when she saw Usagi. That's why Seiya fell in love with her.
Mamo-chan and Usagi actually have a history and are obviously meant for each other, while S/U was a one-sided crush.
No matter how much I don't like Mamo-chan in the anime, it doesn't change the fact that Usagi always loved him.
I believe that if serena had ended up with Seiya it would have been a learned love whereas with Darien is was instant.

Seiya fell in love with Usagi but he/she always knew that Usagi's heart, body, soul, mind (everything!) belonged to Mamochan... She was vulnerable when alone; and she DID NOT fall in love with Seiya_ the odd times she felt 'attracted' to Seiya were when some of Seiya's attributes just reminded her of Mamoru...

Its obvious Serena loves Darien, but I don't know if Darien really loves Serena. There are times when he writes her off or ignores her in the anime. I don't think he respects her - she's like... a trophy wife? They're also so unlike each other. Serena has zero talent in anything but love, yet Darien is well educated and has various interests. I still like Serena though! I just wish they made her good at SOMETHING other than being Sailor Moon and a good friend (and eating contests).

well us mamoru/usagi fans end up winning in the end(she ends up with darien) and get annoyed when yall seiya/usagi fans keep saying that they should've been together. well they dont end up together! get over it! and the reason they're together is because of destiny and she loves darien more than seiya could ever love her.

Yes, Mamochan went abroad to pursue his studies & career_ there is a difference between that 'leaving' and 'leaving someone in a relationship' (ie turn his back on her/ dump her)...
If his starlight had not been taken away, he would have replied to every single letter/phone call from Usagi during his period abroad & more!!!

ok i don't know if any of you watch avatar the last airbender but in that show there was a "ship" war between the fans on which relationship should happen, kataang or zutara...did the same kind of ship war happen in sailor moon? like some fans wanted serena and seiya to be together and some fans wanted serena and darien to be together and then they argue nonstop on which on would happen?

i LOVE darien!! he is beautiful and has been with serena since the begining. yeah, they didn't like eachother at first, but then they grew so in love. they have a future together.
