Great podcast, very informative and interesting. Margo was an excellent guest, down to earth , clear and concise explanation of law.
First guest to turn up with a notepad and pen 😂
Excellent podcast Cammy and Iona. So interesting 👏👏
Phenomenal episode. So much good information, even for a non-farmer like me. These episodes are so wonderful. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I grew up on a farm and I am not a farmer, but I was hooked. So much great information and chat. 👍😊👍
It’s time Cammy. Pop the question to Lizzy. 😊❤️
Loving these podcasts. Very interesting for a non farmer.
Another good podcast. I’m not a farmer but I think I bore my brother and sister in law with all the information I gain from your podcasts and from
Dalscone Farm when I visit them every Tuesday lol!!!!!
I love this podcast! I'm learning so much about Scottish land law. I've always believed that two people who have been living together for more than a couple of years, you really need to get married. I have a friend who's future in-laws threw her out of her own home after her fiancee died at sea in a Navy helicopter that went down. He had bought the house for her but they hadn't had a chance to get married yet. His parents, in their grief, let her have her clothes, but not the furniture that she had purchased, etc. GET MARRIED!!!
Thank You Cammy and Iona another great podcast. Look forward to the next one 😊
What an interesting and complex subject inherirance can be. Cammy need to ensure Lizzy and boys' future.
Great podcast.Very interesting
Brilliant. Margo was very interesting
Such a lot of knowledge and she's so great at making it all understandable. Glad you enjoyed it!
Great podcast
So interesting, even for us not in Scotland. Margo does speak fast but she speaks clearly so no issues there for me.
Enjoyed watching this from 1-2am in California. Looking forward to you, “Getting your inheritance tax sorted”. 😉😃
Great information for all. ThankYou. So…. go home and make a will ! Also love your mug❤️✌️🐑
So good!…So good!
another brilliant podcast..very interesting
Important caveat, you are discussing Scottish Law, English law differs, especially in regard to claims on wills. In England, it is harder to claim a legal right against a will.
Great content, and should help focus people's mind as to getting their s#£t sort.
Another excellent podcast. 👏 Makes you think 🤔 which is always good. 😊
Enjoyed this podcast about law and farms too. As an American I would love to hear from a realtor that deals with land and farms. The prices for land and lease cost and laws on selling land.
They’re called Estate Agents but things are a lot different. It would we a great podcast!
As someone who has just made a will , very satisfying podcast.
As someone that had a " Limited Partnership Tennancy" that lost out because of the awful 2003 Act that got rid of more Tennants than anything else.
Keep the good work up.
Cammy, your best podcast to date. Great information and very interesting. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
Fascinating and poignant information. Thanks again for a brilliant podcast! Goodnight John Boy!
Another brilliant and v helpful podcast !
Great to see you cammy and iona doing so well. Any chance iona could put her mike a bit lower so we can see her face a we bit better .. 😉
Very informative and somethings we really need to look into. Wills and getting married definitely solve a lot of legal issues. It’s good to see you thinking about getting married 😂. Of course you do realise this is a leap year so maybe Lizzy will ask you instead? 🤔
That’s very interesting so you don’t all own your own farms in Scotland like most of us here in New Zealand wow
If ever there was a reason for a marriage of convenience 😂
What dose Britain make anymore that stands out to be the best? I think it's only meat?? We used to have steel and furniture off the top of my head
In Germany, if you are not married, you are the same as a random stranger from the street: no inheritance, no widows allowance, no pension, not even if you raised a barn full of children together. Without a marriage certificate or a waterproof will you are on your own. Cannot make medical or care decisions for your spouse if need be.
