je suis tombé sur cette série totalement géniale par tout hasard, la com' a mon avis n'ai pas assez importante pour faire connaitre cette série Française.
mes deux chouchou Eliott & Lucas ... mais chacun on leur rôle et je trouve vraiment ça GENIAL.

Translation here (Part 1) : (I’m not bilingual so please be tolerant with mistakes… I may sometimes not translate litteraly but basically it means the same thing)
Here are some abbreviations I will use to go faster : bc : because - info : information - w/ : with - Fr : France - S : Season
Host : Good evening everyone, so we're gonna talk about the show "Skam" diffused on France tvslash and with me during this conversation there are Niels Rahou, scriptwriter of the show ; Sened Dhab director of the numerical fiction at France Television ; Axel Auriant, actor and his associate Maxence Fauvet-Danel - Danet-Fauvel excuse me ! *laughs* who plays Eliott and Axel plays Lucas. Season 5 is in preparation as well as S6. So we’re gonna talk about this phenomenal success because the show made 80 millions views on France tv slash and the plateforms where it is diffused. So Sened, I would like you to sum up a little the principle of diffusion of the show and all the “transmedia” (sorry idk what that means) measures that have been organised.
Sened : So Skam is a real time show which means every episodes are composed of different sequences released during the moment when they are meant to happen in everyday life. So if a sequence happens in high school at 10:22 am, Monday on morning then it is released and proposed to the audience Monday at 10:22 am to relive the stories of the characters day -to-day and minutes after minutes.
Host : And also the characters have their own Instagram account-
Sened :- their own Instagram account and so it makes possible for us to tell the story in a different way, give additional informations and go on with the diffusion of the different sequences and indeed to include even more and position even more the characters in the real and the daily life.
Host : And it makes possible lots of interactions w/ the audience who reacts in real time.
Sened : Absolutely.
Host : So Niels, you are a collection director so I would like you to explain us what does it mean bc you made an author room a little bit on the model used in the US.
Niels : Yes, so good evening *smile*. Collection director is the head writer who supervises the writing of a show. For Skam Fr, for S3 and S4 it’s an adaptation constituted to an authors pool. We took the original dialogues and episodes and we adapted them in French w/ more or less distance w/ the original materials. The work is a little bit different with the s5 and s6 since it’s new. So my work is to create for s5 and s6 particularly the story, reunite the authors -we are 5 for each season, including me so 4 authors w/ me - supervise the writing phase in the studio, which takes several weeks, and after supervise the writing of dialogues. And once every authors have written their own episode (s) I go back over it and homogenize, I do the feedbacks of the prod, the filmmaker… So I’m here from A to Z for the writing.
Host : So, originally Skam is a norvegian show and it means “Shame” bc it stages students of high school who ask themselves lots of questions about their identity and aren’t necessarily good about themselves. What have been the biggest challenge for you, the actors, in the interpretation of these teenagers characters ?
*laughs* Axel ?
Axel (really low) : Go on Maxence
Maxence : I’m gonna go first. So it was to apprehend the shooting bc it was the first one of my life. It was a big pressure, moreover for a character who was like a monument in the original show. So I had to succeed in appropriating the character without being influenced by the original show, all the remakes that have been done… So I watched nothing before shooting it. And for a personal point of view, the biggest challenge for me was to interpret a character affected by bipolarity. It was a great acting exercise and a research and creation work pre-shooting really interesting but really complex and it needed a total investment like locking up myself at home, do some researches on it and then try to live it before the shooting to understand how this character lived his emotions, life moments even when we didn’t see him on screen. So it was a beautiful challenge.
Host : Axel ?
Axel : I would say it was approximately like Maxence to live as close as possible from what can Lucas live in life and trying to transliterate all on screen w/ doubts, this pivotal period of adolescence. And to give substance to Lucas and try to make the spectator feel what Lucas feels and also to make this love story between these 2 beings credible. And we told each other w/ David we didn’t want to see 2 men -
Host : David Hourrègue, the filmmaker
Axel : - Wonderful filmmaker, it’s not a joke * laughs*. So not to see 2 men who love each other but 2 beings who love each other and to insist on the universal characteristic of love and the fact that we don’t choose who we fall in love w/.
Host : Indeed, Skam is also that, it’s a show which encourages reflexion, approaches a lot of themes : harassment, homophobia, racism, discriminations but also and fortunately love, friendship, solidarity, tolerance, self-acceptance. What was the principal message of the show who motivated Fr tv to get involved in the project ?
Sened : Approaching these subjects like it has never been approached in Fr I think. In a frontal way, a way that the audience could identify w/. It was also a craving of pushing the representation and creating a mirror effect w/ the audience we wanted to be interested to the show. And we already said - it’s a little bit pompous to say it like that - we realised w/ the feedbacks of s3 and s4 that it was what we hoped when we started the project and it happened. Skam is a show that changes life. We realised for a lot of our fans, the show had a highly positive impact bc it allowed to free the speech or at least be aware of certain things, questions and share certain things about lots of issues. So this craving to talk about these subjects and approach it and thereby facilitate their management by the audience to whom we are addressing.
Host : So did you really have the feeling that it was missing on the small screen, all of you ?
Niels : Yes ! I think we all have the same answer, yes. Skam Fr yes and generally programms, that are interested by this generation, that we did during a certain time and totally stopped doing based on the principle that this generation wasn’t interested anymore. And fortunately Skam participates on that with its delivery method but indeed I think our memories, our constitution as a social human being comes also from medias, newspapers that we read, magazines, television, radio and we grew up w/ shows and I think during a period, young people did’n’t have shows to refer to and all the more so something which isn’t pure entertaining but as you said, that looks deeper into the thematics that affect them and concern them directly. So, yeah it still misses. We are thrilled to do Skam Fr but it doesn’t need just one but several, of all types for all public but we must - it sounds a lot like a “phrase of an old person” sorry - we must talk to the young people. *laughs*

mais maxence l'adaptation française est la première à être sortie après l'original
l'adaptation italienne a fait la saison 3 de la série originale en 2ème saison, et avant que skam france ne la fasse. Donc il aurait pu voir la saison de skam oitalie et skam OG avant de tourner la saison 3 de skam France
