I am so confused how saxton hale could possibly believe the tf2 team is "subnormal". The medic stole his teamates souls and outsmarted the devil, scout learned how to jump off the air, the engineer can fit super turrets into suitcases, pyro... is pyro, soldier basically flies with his rockets, heavy can take 30 bullets to the heart before he dies, spy can use paper masks to magically make himself look just like the enemy, sniper is basically hawkeye, and demoman fights people that have guns with a sword and shield
And whats more, he literally acts like a misfit himself. He goes around killing and killing with no hint of class or sensibility. He should love these mercs thanks to their craziness, instead he barely registers their presence.
Keep in mind Saxton Hale can literally punch with the force of a fucking truck, and regularly kills large dangerous creatures with his bare hands. He comes from the land of Australia where (in the tf2 universe) the average man is not only intelligent but also impressively jacked. Most of the mercs are merely below average joes without their weapons, weapons PROVIDED my Saxton Hale.
Ian Chapman yes, at the end of the most recent comic, Miss Pauling is in shock that all the mercs survived, with severe injuries. She asked how, and the Medic says “it’s because they have no souls”

yupp. More than 10 classes each team has it's own with each being unique. I have the witch with a goat beard who's a sniper that cast curses and illusions. A roadie who is kinda like the engineer but more open and one of the better meelee guys, The annoying solution "no that's not a gun" who is a plague doctor of english german steam punk design with more than poison and medicine, he got parasites too!

I bet Scout is one because in the Love and War update video it shows that reading is something fancy to him, and I doubt he sees himself as fancy.
computermonster1 I think it's just Saxton and Helen not giving the mercs the respect they deserve. Heck, Pyro's smart enough to become a CEO in six months, while Soldier can be a decent tactician when he needs to be. I think he can also read, it's just more interesting for him to skim Sun Tzu's "Art of War" and add in shit where he thinks it'd be more badass.
As for the "sex criminal" thing, it's probably just Soldier's fondness for streaking.
Scout should have totally gotten the Twin Forces of Nature as a bat...

Cool stuff. My only beef is that at 1:21, "This chair I'm sitting on is *made* of Force-A-Natures," the emphasis should be on "made". MazAMaTaz emphasized "chair" more than any other word in the sentence.

MazAMaTaz No worries. I'm glad you're aware of it though. Just a tip for next time: When acting out or reading a comic out loud, make note of where the writer/letterer have emphasized words, and emphasize the words appropriately in speech.
Dogman15 Nah, usually I do keep track of where the emphasis is (I type out a Word file before I record these things so I don't have to flip through the comic while I'm recording). Just one of those things that fell through the cracks in my haste. I strive for excellence for you guys, and I'm glad you strive for excellence from me in return. Thanks!

I’m more shocked how Saxton Hale can put out a force of 2,751 pounds of pressure per square inch every single time with no difference. Of course the machine might use a general range but that’s no fun.

For those people who thing saxton hale look down on those mercs you need to remember that this is the same guy fight yeti effortlessly, sheered robot with bare hand and etc. plus he probably well aware of what the mercs and administrators capable of.

Pyro: Pyro.
Demo: he is middle class by TF2 standards, like, he has a fancy mansion for his mom and a cool car and that's it, also he's an alcoholic from a family known for killing themselves in explosions.
Heavy: they just think he's an idiot with dementia for his guns and food.
Engi: they think he's crazy, plus he isn't ultra muscular like his grandpa.
Medic: Medic.
Sniper: an Australian who sucks at melee is seen as a disgrace.
