Caltain, Amtrak, ACE and VTA at San Jose Diridon - January 24th, 2014

Trains at San Jose Diridon on the 24th January 2014. Caltrains galore, along with a few Amtrak services and Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) services. VTA Light Rail also gets a feature.
This station is set for major change in the coming years with Caltrain's planned Electrification scheme and the planned California High Speed Rail services from Los Angeles. Therefore this video was primarily recorded for posterity.
Filmed between 4pm and 6pm.

I would film at Diridon Station more if there were more ACE and Amtrak trains.

David Nissim Same honestly... the station is set for major change over the next ten years with the CHSRA InterCity trains being introduced.

For this video I used a Canon Powershot ELPH 300HS. Have since upgraded between a 130IS and now a 190IS. Looking at upgrading again to a 330 or 350 very soon.

Ended up upgrading to the 350HS - definitely recommend it over the aforementioned models for this sort of stuff :D
