Can Groovy Script be used for Standard Objects in SCM or Finance modules and call web services to get values. Eg: When Sales Order is Created Price to be derived using Item Cost. The example is calling a web service in Distribution Order Orchestration using Item number and getting Item cost from costing based on the configuration set to derive the item cost be it Average Costing/Std costing. I read groovy can be used on std objects for CX modules only. Help me understand this

Yes, Looks like REST APIs not available for journal import. You may use SOAP services from the below doc.
