So technically, the 10th, 11th, and 12th Doctors also met the Reapers. If you consider that canon, then 15 has even more reason to not summon them again.

It's complicated but, we hope, worth it. Speaking of the episode, I think this is definitely foreshadowing. The Doctor explains what would happen because we'll probably see exactly that happening and then they'll have to deal with the consequences.

At first I thought Ruby is Susan's daughter, but too many clues are pointing to River Song and the Pond era. And maybe it is just my imagination but Ruby is like Amy Pond at the first few episodes.
I think people are frustrated that a lot of the baggage is gone from the doctor. But I think that’s good let’s build some new emotional baggage. The whole point of the split with tenant as I saw it was that he will deal with the ramifications of their past while he can move on. And hopefully in his moving on new problems and things will happen that will organically lead to amazing stories that delve into his character again
All those titles from Gallifrey he went into throughout the episode were likely people he knew, he wasn't just giving examples, but likely mentioning the late people of his kind, like when we refer back to someone who passed. But I don't understand why The Doctor went into revealing his name to Ruby and her Mother right away before the scan at the end was complete (Unless he figured it out before The TARDIS finished scanning) but he was so hesitant to reveal his name to Companions he had for longer and closer friends than Ruby (Such as Donna or Clara) which is why I think Ruby has more importance later on, or it's just a weird decision.
This is a *healed* Doctor. Essentially, 14 is resting with Donna, recovering from everything that’s happened to him, and now 15 has a relatively clean bill of mental health. Forget his name, remember how long it took to tell prior companions about the time war? And then how long he stalled before telling them the outcome of that war?
@@randomrazr It's a bit messy, The Doctor watched Gallifrey burn against the Daleks in the Time War (John Hurt) but later, with other incarnations froze it in a single point in time to save them from the Daleks (Mainly Matt Smith), but has been able to revisit the ruins of Gallifrey with The Master (Jodie Whittaker) and from my knowledge that's what's left of Gallifrey until the next story involving it comes along

Earlier in the episode, it mysteriously snows in the middle of a spaceship- just like the snow on her birthday. The Doctor is scanning her to make sure she's really human- which she appears to be, so there is something deeper going on.
You know eventually she will find outt who her birth mother is , also snow powers bit like Elsa from frozen . We also need to solve the mystery of Mrs Flood her neighbour.
I think her mom is Rose, the outfit the hair, and the carefree personality. Plus, it's a coincidence that Ruby was born literally one week before Rose meets the Doctor, it would explain why the 15th Doctor would be interested in who the hooted figure was, and why there's no record of Ruby's mom or Dad. And it would tie in with this being "Season 1"
