    Im struggling to work out why the top teather is required when the seat is rearward facing? When you tighten it, it seems to just lift the rear of the base of the seat off the actual carseat.

      @amypeggs9606 Pƙed 3 měsĂci +1

      It helps stop the seat from rotating forwards if you were in a crash, as it would hit the front seat and endanger the child. You don't need to tighten it so that it lifts the base up, just tighten it so it's not loose.

    Hi. Do you know how heavy this car seat is in kgs? Just wondering if it is easy to get in and out and use in taxi's or if anyone else wished to borrow it and Can you use the carseat without clipping into isofix fixtures also ( just by belting it into car) cant find information online about it. I will be mainly having it fixed in my car but if it is used by anyone else i am not sure if they will have the isofix fittings in car or if it was compatible with their car. X

      Heyy! I am so sorry for the slow reply I hadn't seen this comment 😕
      I cannot find the weight of the car seat anywhere but it's not heavy at all. I haven't removed mine since we've installed it into my car purely because my car is the family car but my mum has bought the same car seat and has said it's really easy to get in and out of her car which she's done quite regularly now. With regards to if it can be secured just using the seatbelt and not the isofix I'm honestly not sure and I'd hate to advise wrong so might be best to message Ickle bubba or look at the user manuals on their website to see if you can or not. There's also a list of cars compatible with this carseat on their website which might be helpful (I'll drop the link below). Sorry if this wasn't much help and I hope you get a car seat sorted soon đŸ€ž x

    Hi I’ve just purchased this seat and it came yesterday so I’ve tried setting it up today for my little one. She’s just turned 1. But it looks extremely padded and uncomfortable for her. Do you know what has to be done/ when you remove the inserts. I saw the manual says upto 13kg she’s current 8.6kg but she just doesn’t look comfortable at all

      Heyy!! We had the same thing. The inner head rest bit literally wedged my little ones head and he didn't seem comfortable at all so we removed it and he's much happier (he's 9kg for reference). Obviously that's just how we've done it as opposed to advice but I hope that helps? X

    Hi did you order the "single" or "rotating 2 pack" from their website? Its unclear if the "single" comes with the rotating base. Very affordable at only ÂŁ119 hense why im unsure. Thanks.

      Hey, we bought it as a 2 pack purely because one of our little boys grandparents wanted to get the same car seat as us so it made sense to buy two at the same time. The car seat and the rotating base as far as I know don't come apart, it's just one solid unit and I can't imagine it'd be different from buy 1 Vs 2 but I'm sure customer service can help with any questions you'd have :) hope this helps!

    Hi. Does your buckle sits in an angle? I’ve purchased this car seat because it had good reviews. Only one review said that the buckle strap in between their legs is too long hence it’s too high and sits on babies chest. I thought nothing of it and purchased it. Now I see what the one star reviewer meant. Once my 1 year old is strapped in the buckle presses on his stomach in an angle and almost touches his sternum. Also the side strap digs in in an angle too. Do you find the same issue?

      Hey! Thankyou for your comment.
      Firstly I am so sorry for my delayed reply.
      We haven't found any issues with the straps and I've not seen anyone else mention about them either. Does adjusting the length of the straps by pushing the little button help sort the side straps digging in? I'm really sorry to hear it's not comfortable for your little one :( Ickle bubba customer service may be able to offer some guidance perhaps? I hope you get it sorted x

      Hey! Thankyou for your comment â˜ș firstly I am so sorry for the slow reply. Ours will move if we give it a wiggle but once little one is in and the safety tether is clipped in it doesn't wiggle for us. I think because it's fastened on one side of the seat (the isofix clips and the safety tether) it allows a bit of movement in the seat but it shouldn't be lots. I'm pretty sure you can adjust the length of the arms which clip into the isofix bits so perhaps they need adjusting? Sorry I hope that was helpful and I hope you get it sorted out :) failing this perhaps Ickle Bubba customer service can offer some support.
