I don't know how well people understand how special this game is. The fact that the company will commit so many resources into making a free online concert like this, is totally bonkers. Just hiring a very large orchestra of musicians of all kinds who have to rehearse and play the music, recording and mixing/mastering it, filming it from multiple angles, even adding post production animations and editing it all together cohesively... This one video probably cost them... geeze, probably around 3 million dollars to make lxD Ahnd they put it out for free... Thanks Mihoyoverse, I'm honored to get to be apart of this special journey you all clearly pour so much love into l:,).

@@miss_tech How many games that are that successful will go through the effort and monetary cost to make cool stuff lyke this though? That's my point. Yeah, it's a monetarily successful game, ahnd they could call it a day and enjoy their profits, or they could go the extra mile and make cool stuff lyke this. I've never seen a successful game company do something like this before, to pour their resources into something that, as far as I can tell, is a net loss. Yes, it's simultaneously promoting their game, which it should to justify them losing money here, but it's still far outside the norm as for anything I've seen.

It’s not as uncommon as you think even outside of the gacha game communities.
Hoyoverse does a good job with things like this but don’t discount other games and their communities because you play Genshin.

Aether x Lumine is underrated
This is probably the best Genshin Concert ever not only because of the songs from many regions, but also from different teams of musicians, plus the amount of effects & scenes from the game.
It was magical.. When "Lovers Oath" started, i got teary eyed. So many talented people working together to create something so amazing.
Thank you to Hoyoverse, HoyoMix and all artists which once more made my heart soar. ❤

Been playing the game since day 1 and still log in daily. May have missed a day here and there but who’s counting lol. Anyway, to all the amazing musicians, composers, mixers who have had the opportunity to make the amazing music for this game, thank you. Some of these pieces are engraved into my mind that I feel without them, this game just wouldn’t be the same. The beating heart and soul of this series. To the years that have passed and the ones to come, again I thank you for creating some of the best memories when it comes to music in a game.
I have never been happier that Genshin exists. It such an amazing, well-detailed, with amazing voice actors game - that ill never forget, even if it means growing old. This was an amazing concert, i could never express how thankful i am for it. Thank you Yu Peng Chen, Hoyoverse, all the musicians making this amazing concert even become one, developers of the game, voice actors, and much more for this amazing life time experience that we all hope will continue for as long as we know (lol). This was the best Christmas and New year’s gift I could’ve gotten, and I cant describe how happy i am. Thanks again, Merry Christmas, and Happy Holidays Hoyoverse, and people all around the world.

That's a typical classical music concert tradition. Conductors always does it 2-3 times depending on the applause & whether they want to re-invite soloists up for an encore, or conduct a quick encore piece themselves.

@@SpikeTheWolf When you buy your ticket, you get an assigned seat in the theater. There's no strict dress code. You can just dress in your casual clothes. Most even cosplayed Genshin Impact characters, which was really cool!

I stopped playing genshin for quite some time now because life happened but I always go back to listen and watch their concerts. Genshin music is just different than any other games.
It is a masterpiece... Even Genshin impact is the best game that Ive ever played.. the game can be played while i work / in my rutinity

Watching and listening to this concert, i cried and touched as I realised Genshin has been a part in my life for years. I felt so nostalgic when i think back about the time I started playing this game. I just want to say that not even once I regret installing this game and I will always support Genshin Impact. I teared up more than once 😭 The nostalgia hit me especially with the Mondstadt and Liyue OST's! @@GentleJoh There are many people who enjoy various kinds of things and incorporate them into their lives, not just by liking games, series, anime, movies, etc., but by actively participating in communities, attending events, and dedicating their free time to what they enjoy. I don't see this as a something sad, rather, if it brings happiness to these individuals, then it is a positive and enriching experience. It's not for everyone, as not everyone can embrace this lifestyle, but surely, they have other interests and communities to be a part of!

People say that Hoyo is greedy and doesn't care about its fans but for me these concerts prove the opposite, I love all of them It is not something that can be done overnight but rather they had to invest large amounts of time, money and effort. Never stop growing
I mean, Hoyo is super greedy. When you make as much money as them, stuff like this is chump change. But that’s besides the fact that the music has always been top tier. It’s the musicians who create these wonderful pieces that you should thank.

Try not to be too sad. He is still out there making music. Also his influence will be felt throughout the game till the end, even if he is not there in person. We also have a great collection of composers, so we should be in good hands.
Extremely happy to see two songs featuring my favorite characters, Scara and Xiao 😌 it was a gorgeous concert and I think I would've cried at least 8 times had I seen it in person

I just gave the 2023 Genshin Concert a watch and listen from start to finish.
This year's concert feels like a massive tribute and evolution to how much Genshin Impact has been through for the past 3 years. Each song for each respective region really played true to what each region has truly become in the hearts of all the Travelers that had stayed throughout this whole Journey. It's no kidding why the game will still continue to flourish throughout the years. From Mondstadt all the way to Fontaine, we've seen the evolution on how much the game that's absolutely free gives us all of this for all of us to experience with, in all aspects. This was a heartfelt, 10/10 concert for me.

I have relived my entire Genshin journey again
I started playing Genshin only a year ago but the OSTs have grown on me super fast and seeing them being put into a concert is so much fun! I love how it goes from something calm to something so funky and energetic like how it went from the calm Dawn Winery OSTs to suddenly Klee's demo song, or the Aranara tune to Polumia Omnia! A job done more than great!
Seeing the concert in Boston was a lot of fun. It was a lot of fun to cosplay as Lyney during the concert.
Experiencing something like that felt like once in a lifetime thing and I was very happy to enjoy it.
Hope we all get to continue to play the game and have fun seeing what other moments Genshin can give to us :]

Sooo excited by miHoYo's foray into immersive tech!! Imma guess that the musicians were filmed on an XR stage (XR=extended reality), a dynamic virtual canvas that displays any environment you want, and moves it in sync with the cameras' line of sight so it looks super realistic. This removes the need for green screens, and the vfx nightmare of removing spill (green light on reflective surfaces like a shiny trumpet)... allowing the musicians to truly bask in the gorgeous lighting of all our favorite animations. The ending part got me, it's making me very emotional.
I remember the Five Nations / 5 Regions (even Dragonspine, Chasm and etc.) that we used to wandering around or do some (previous) Archon quest and extra quests

The music in this game is the best I've heard in my life. It's one of the things that kept me coming back to the game.
my eyes felt very heavy and i had the urge to cry when i heard "Clear Sky Over Liyue" 12:08 again.... It took me back to when it was just mond & liyue, i finished all my quests and all i was doing was exploring the open world for materials and the places i often visited was in Mt. Hulao and Qingyun Peak... 😔 and i always felt at peace when i was there, like i forgot all my worries for a minute
Im having a particularly hard time these past few months, tackling mental health. maybe thats why i felt teary eyed when the music came, i havent felt very peaceful for a while 😅 The piano segment just feels like a gentle lullaby thats inviting me to rest, While the flute tells me everything will be okay in my journey.

It was a great concert. Genshin as a game has in my pov the best backround music and beats basically some proffesional orchesters and experts in this genre. I am a huge fan of orchester music and i am really thankfull that Genshin shares this love too and shows us the beauty of multiple instruments together. Ty Genshin❤❤❤

Every song and instrument player looks cool in traditional outfits. The Chinese singer sounds amazing. The background graphics are also great. Everything is harmonized perfectly I'm almost crying right now OMG
Love Hu Tao's theme, and Zhongli's Theme and TERMINATION OF DESIRES, POLUMIA go so hard. The Sumeru tracks have such LIFE in them, when the strings come in at 42:50 ahhh the harmony of the instruments is truly emotionally moving.. Truly PEAK Hoyomix tracks. Music is a universal language we all can understand and share

Honestly. I've seen way too many people malding and pitting HSR and Genshin against each other, when they're games made by the same company. I've never seen this happen with any community before, and it's baffling to say the least. Every other community just enjoys any game made by the same company, myself included.
As a day 1 player for both games, I'll gladly enjoy what I get from both games. A cool free 5 star unit in one game, and an incredible concert for the other!
