Absolutely loved this video Christian! The good and the bad are things we definitely should know and it’s true! I’ve been in Bali for 3 weeks now and had somewhat of a hard time adjusting since this is my first time out of North America. But meeting community members at the lost creator meetup was exactly what I needed! Now I have friends here and look forward to make plans to create content and get to know even more people!

Currently, being a digital nomad in Australia and Bali is the dream. The digital nomad lifestyle can be very lonely, and finding like-minded people is hard. You need to love staying by yourself and accurately pick the countries you travel to. Being a digital nomad is much more fun around other digital nomads! 😊

Pro tip : after ride a motorbike at the beach, makesure you have a fresh water to clean your bike from salt water splash from the beach. salt water make your bike rusty at some part.

For imports, we use DHL and picked up from the DHL Denpasar depot. No issues with import fees however they won't seem to deliver to canggu.

Indonesia should set up an income tax on any foreign who lives there, what digital nomads are bringing to Bali other than raising the property prices and cost of living expenses for the citizens. Along with they don’t mix with the locals and getting to know their culture they just blend in with their own kind. Indonesia should standup for itself!!!
They spend money there too and all landlords in indonesia are indonesians. They definitely grow the economy
They spend money on services like restaurants, rent, and shopping. All of that creates jobs and helps the economy. An income tax on foreign income would prevent anyone from going there. I already pay 35% to the US government 😢

My ultimate goal one day is to become a digital nomad and move around from hub to hub every few months or so although I know that won't be sustainable in the long run I'd like to try it for a year or 2. Being lonely and not having consistent income are probably the most difficult aspect of that lifestyle for me. Thanks for the video on showing us some insight into the digital nomad lifestyle.
