I really love this pattern and have watched this tutorial several times and I finally tackled it this weekend. It gave me a few challenges but I absolutely love how it turned out. I made the large size and used the same fabric as in the tutorial. This may be my new favorite and I am sure I will make more of them. I cannot wait to start using it. Thank you for the great design and for the tutorial that really helped me get it done.

Unfortunately I am just once a year in your country after having traveled to the US much much more, before we got a dog last year who has to stay in Europe as I would never put him in the belly of an aircraft alone and so long just for my holiday 😔. So I can buy your goods only once a year now…. That hurts! The taxes and fees are sooooo expensive🤨! But I will save all your tutorials… and then…. when time comes…. I will buy all things I love🥰. I really like this bag - and pretty easy to make especially with the tutorial - but found it difficult to do the top stitching on the contrast fabric even with a teflon foot - it was difficult to keep the stitches even - Any suggestions? also when adding the 2nd lining piece it should be noted that it's the lining pieces RST so slightly different that the first side. Thanks again for the tutorial

Perhaps the following thoughts could be helpful for topstitching: - Be sure to stitch slowly; keeping an even speed can help the layers feed under the presser foot more smoothly and that helps toward even stitches. - Some sewists find a walking foot helpful--again this kind of foot helps the fabric layer move under the foot evenly, forming more even stitches. On your note about the second Lining Piece--We're pleased you found the video tutorial helpful! Is it in step 5 under ATTACH ZIPPER CLOSURE, that you are referring to? Please let us know if we can answer any further questions.
